Work as a software developer in an Agile environment delivering solutions for customers focussed on migrating our customers’ legacy relational-based Java applications to a more modern cloud-based architecture running on MongoDB, leveraging the latest GenAI tools and approaches to accelerate this process. During each project, successful candidates will be required to innovate on potential new GenAI-based solutions for specific challenges in addition to applying existing playbooks and tooling for migration.

This role will be based remotely in Bulgaria.

Position Expectations

• Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of Java-based applications using Spring Boot
• Write clean, maintainable code following standard software development principles
• Constantly learning and open to adopting new technologies and approaches on projects as they evolve, especially those relating to GenAI advancements
• Participates as a software developer on small Agile teams, delivering software-based solutions for migrating and modernizing customer legacy applications to MongoDB
• Follow existing best practice migration playbooks where applicable and be prepared to innovate to fill in gaps with creative solutions to solve challenges on each specific project
• Take direction from the technical lead and project manager on projects, raising identified challenges and potential solutions to the team when applicable
• Be prepared to change project direction if customer or account team priorities change

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience working as a JAVA software developer
• Basic knowledge of Python (e.g., ability to read, understand, and write simple scripts for automation or data handling)
• Good understanding of Java fundamentals and object-oriented programming
• Experience (academic projects, internships, or personal work) with Spring Boot
• Strong proficiency in Java
• Strong experience in building applications that interact with relational databases using SQL
• History of delivering high-cadence modern applications with applied Agile methodologies, test-first development approaches, adopting CI/CD pipelines and using Git version control

Nice-to-have skills

• Exposure to building REST APIs with Spring Boot
• Basic understanding of microservices concepts
• Experience in performance and memory optimization of JAVA applications
• Familiarity with tools like Postman, IntelliJ IDEA, and Maven/Gradle
• Exposure to other languages or technologies like JavaScript
• Understanding of ORM tools like Hibernate, Spring Data  or JPA (even through coursework or self-study)

Extra bonus skills (if missing, we will provide rapid onboarding enablement on these):

• Some experience in nascent GenAI technologies and approaches, such as using OpenAI API with GPT LLMs not purely through chat interfaces
• Experience with AI-powered development tools like Cursor, Cline.bot, or similar code assistants
• Practical experience of using MongoDB

About the Role 

The ISO Consultant works to execute assessment activities and provide technical leadership to the team. In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of ISO assessments alongside a variety of other client-facing security services. As the ISO Consultant, you will provide exceptional organizational and technical strategies to help the continued growth of our fast-paced company while leveraging your existing experience with industry frameworks like SOC, SOX, or PCI DSS. We’re looking for an Operations Manager, ideally with experience in KYC, Consulting, Operations, Finance, or Technology. In this role you’ll become a key member of Tide’s KYC Operations team scaling our presence in the UK and our European markets. ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Scaling and optimising our UK and Europe focused operations for the onboarding, event driven reviews, and screening teams
• Monitoring acquisition funnel operating performance and KPIs (e.g. commercial targets, conversion rates, or other key results) and investigating and raising deviations
• Managing and updating financial models for headcount and budget planning, ensuring operational resources align with growth targets

 The Team & Role

The solution architect is a key member of the professional services team responsible for the  design and architecture of Zuora solutions. The position requires strong consulting skills with  the ability to effectively command a room. The solution architect plays a lead role during the  implementation, identifying and documenting client business requirements, mapping and  configuring the Zuora solution to meet the client’s requirements and providing guidance to the  client to achieve a successful implementation. They must identify potential issues and risks  early in an implementation to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans. A solid  candidate will have an innate ability to simplify complex technology concepts and to plan,  prioritize and seamlessly integrate all moving parts to deploy successful solutions.

• Solution design using the full Zuora product portfolio
• Design and validate that the proposed solution architecture supports the stated and implied business requirements

Your experience

• Must have enterprise level experience, within a professional services organisation, as a Solution Architect and/or Business Consultant with a leading technology  consulting or product company, delivering moderate to complex ERP, billing,  revenue, procurement and/or CRM solutions.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities to lead business discussions with customers and architect the value of our solution and the best practices to implement it
• Experience in requirements gathering, use cases documentation, business analysis, systems design and integration, user interface design and implementation
• Experience in data analysis, conversion and migration, interfaces and reports
• Experience with system design using configuration and/or customization, integration, testing and support
• Experience in delivering end to end solutions through the entire SDLC - right from running the client facing workshops, design, build, test, deployment, UAT and handover
• Experience in Waterfall and Agile methodologies
