Join us! The GoFundMe Pro team is searching for a Staff Software Engineer to drive the technical vision and execution of our Integrations platform. You’ll serve as a senior IC on a high-impact team responsible for core integration surfaces including Public APIs, Webhooks, Salesforce integrations (NPC, NPSP), and Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) tools like Workato and Zapier. You’ll lead architecture efforts, mentor engineers, and work closely with cross-functional partners to build robust, scalable integration solutions that connect GoFundMe to the broader ecosystem. This role is ideal for a seasoned technical leader who thrives on solving complex problems, setting architectural direction, and leading by example through hands-on contributions.

Candidates considered for this role will be located in the Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The Job

• Define and drive the technical roadmap for our Integrations platform, ensuring it scales with product growth and business complexity.
• Lead the design and implementation of core integration components: Public/Private APIs, webhooks, internal/external system connectivity, and automation workflows.
• Serve as a hands-on expert and role model in software design, system architecture, and best practices.
• Guide the team’s use of AWS services (e.g., Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions) to power scalable and maintainable integration workflows.
• Evaluate and integrate with third-party platforms like Salesforce (NPC/NPSP, Experience Cloud), Workato, and Zapier.
• Champion the use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to boost engineering quality and efficiency.

You 

• Strong and varied startup experience.
• Have 10+ years of software engineering experience with a deep focus on backend and systems integration (APIs, GraphQL, Webhooks, TypeScript, AWS, MySQL).
• Have proven expertise in designing and building robust APIs and scalable integration architectures like Microservices and event driven architectures.
• Familiarity with managing infrastructure using Terraform.
• Have strong experience in analyzing, diagnosing, and preventing performance and scale problems, with expertise in application performance monitoring and log analytics tools like NewRelic and BugSnag.
• Are proficient in at least two of the following: Node.js, Python, Java
• Have strong AWS experience, particularly with services relevant to data and integration (e.g., AWS Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, SQS/SNS).
• Bring a product mindset and a pragmatic approach to technical decision-making to the team.
• A strong mentoring orientation and a desire to elevate those around you.

Preferred

• Experience building or maintaining Salesforce integrations and familiarity with nonprofit-specific packages (NPC, NPSP, Experience Cloud)
• Experience working with a CRM product and have a good understanding on how different CRMs work.
• Have demonstrated use of AI development tools to accelerate delivery and maintain high standards.
• Working experience with PHP Laravel.

Estamos buscando un Data Engineer talentoso y motivado para unirse a nuestro equipo. Las responsabilidades de este rol incluyen diseñar, construir y mantener una plataforma de datos sólida, de autoservicio, escalable y segura, así como pipelines de datos de extremo a extremo que permitan a Data Scientists generar insights y impulsar la toma de decisiones estratégicas.

Responsabilidades de un Data Engineer en QuintoAndar:

• Construir y mantener una plataforma de datos de alto rendimiento que satisfaga las necesidades de la empresa, se conecte con las soluciones de producto y lidere la innovación analítica, habilitando arquitecturas robustas y plataformas eficientes.

• Crear y mantener pipelines de datos, considerando la lógica de negocio que mejor se aplica al área en cuestión, eligiendo niveles de agregación, agrupación y transformación de campos, verificando la calidad de los datos y realizando su limpieza.

• Crear modelos de datos y flujos de trabajo de transformación, permitiendo la creación de abstracciones de datos claras y accesibles.

• Ser responsable de todo el ciclo de vida del desarrollo de código (monitoreo de despliegues, documentación, rendimiento, seguridad, incorporación de métricas y alertas, cumplimiento del presupuesto de SLO, entre otros).

• Investigar inconsistencias y ser capaz de rastrear el origen de las diferencias (data troubleshooting).

• Permitir que los equipos de toda la empresa accedan y utilicen los datos de manera más efectiva mediante herramientas de autoservicio y datasets bien modelados.

• Alinear con stakeholders para comprender sus necesidades principales, manteniendo una visión holística del problema y proponiendo soluciones extensibles, escalables e incrementales.

• Realizar PoCs y benchmarks para determinar la mejor herramienta para un problema determinado, y decidir si se debe utilizar una solución existente o desarrollar una internamente.

• Ser una referencia dentro del chapter en conceptos técnicos, herramientas y/o mejores prácticas de desarrollo.

Lo que buscamos:

• 7 o más años de experiencia en roles de Data Engineering.

• Especialización en tecnologías, soluciones y conceptos de Big Data (Spark, Hadoop, Hive, MapReduce) y múltiples lenguajes (YAML, Python).

• Experiencia con Airflow, Spark, AWS y Databricks.

• Base sólida en principios de ingeniería de software, con experiencia trabajando en sistemas centrados en datos.

• Experiencia con soluciones de almacenamiento columnar y/o conceptos de data lakehouse.

• Dominio de Python, u otro de los principales lenguajes de programación, y pasión por escribir código limpio y mantenible.

• Conocimiento sólido en optimización del rendimiento de consultas SQL.

• Experiencia construyendo modelos de datos multidimensionales (esquemas Star y/o Snowflake).

• Comprensión del ciclo de vida de los datos y conceptos como lineage, gobernanza, privacidad, retención, anonimización, entre otros.

• Conocimientos en áreas de infraestructura como contenedores y orquestación (Kubernetes, ECS), estrategias de CI/CD, infraestructura como código (Terraform), observabilidad (Prometheus, Grafana), entre otros.

• Dominio del inglés: nuestro código, documentación, herramientas y materiales suelen estar estructurados en inglés.

• Excelentes habilidades de comunicación, compartiendo de forma proactiva y colaborando tanto con stakeholders técnicos como no técnicos para traducir necesidades de negocio en soluciones de datos escalables.

• Experiencia como tech lead / project lead o similar.

• Curiosidad, atención al detalle y capacidad para desenvolverse en un entorno dinámico y orientado a datos.

• Has participado en la construcción de plataformas de datos a gran escala para grandes volúmenes de datos y equipos, utilizando tecnologías de Big Data como Spark, Trino, Hive, Atlas, Ranger, entre otras.

Dialpad's Agentic Runtime team owns the infrastructure and execution engine that runs AI agents at scale across Dialpad's core product modalities — including voice, messaging, video, and digital engagement. From multi-step task orchestration and tool execution to real-time context management and agent memory, our team builds the foundational platform that powers Dialpad's next-generation intelligent, autonomous experiences. Our teams are highly collaborative and comprise cross-disciplinary professionals, including Product Managers, QA Specialists, and Engineers specializing in Distributed Systems, ML Infrastructure, and Platform Engineering.

In this position, you will play a pivotal role within our expanding Data team, to help build and scale our next-generation data platform, starting with foundational systems like Master Data Management (MDM) and expanding into a broader event-driven ecosystem. This is a highly impactful, hands-on role where you’ll design and implement distributed, event-driven systems that power analytics, data science, and operational use cases across the company.

The Job

• Build core services for an event-driven, source-of-truth data platform on AWS
• Develop and operate Kafka-based pipelines and stream consumers
• Design systems where events are the source of truth and state can be rebuilt via replay
• Define patterns for idempotency, ordering, retries, and DLQs
• Design for auditability, replay, recovery, and rollback using S3 + Iceberg
• Build APIs and purpose-driven projections (read models) for downstream systems
• Design and evolve scalable, reliable distributed systems
• Make thoughtful tradeoffs across consistency, latency, and cost
• Establish best practices for event-driven architecture and data modeling
• Develop and orchestrate streaming and ELT pipelines from databases, APIs, and event streams
• Contribute to data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake) and data activation use cases where needed
• Integrate AI/LLM capabilities into data workflows and internal data products
• Monitor and optimize system performance, cost, and reliability

• 7+ years of backend or data engineering experience
• Strong programming skills in Java, Kotlin, Python, or Go
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and system design
• Hands-on experience with Kafka (or equivalent)

• Topic design, partitioning, consumer groups
• Idempotency, ordering, delivery semantics

You will deploy and maintain our edge data centers for compute, AI and storage, contribute to the installation, migration, updates and integration of hypervisor services and modules. What you'll be doing:

As a Global Resolution Engineer (GRE) – Networking SME at WEKA, you will serve as a top-tier technical escalation resource with deep specialization in networking for high-performance computing (HPC), AI/ML, and enterprise environments. You will be embedded in the GRE team and work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Engineering, and Product to resolve critical customer issues, influence product networking design, and improve global support readiness.

You will combine your expertise in modern networking technologies (Ethernet, Infiniband, RDMA, DPDK, UCX) with an understanding of WEKA’s unique networking stack and deployment architectures, helping customers achieve maximum performance, stability, and scalability in demanding environments.

As a GRE - Networking SME you'll: 

• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex customer issues related to networking, fabric design, connectivity, and performance in WEKA deployments.
• Troubleshoot Layer 1–4 networking problems in high-throughput, low-latency environments, including AI/ML pipelines and HPC clusters.
• Collaborate with Customer Success Engineers to mentor, review case strategy, and elevate overall team networking competence.
• Engage in proactive problem prevention by analyzing field data to identify emerging patterns, bottlenecks, or systemic flaws in network configurations.
• Maintain and evolve WEKA’s Known Issues Database, Technical Advisories (WTAs), and Knowledge Base (KB) with network-centric content.

• Represent GRE in cross-functional architecture reviews involving customers, field engineers, and partners, with a focus on networking readiness and scalability.
• Support global 24/7 operations through on-call participation and high-severity incident resolution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 15+ years in advanced technical support, network engineering, or network architecture roles in enterprise, cloud, or HPC environments.
• Demonstrated ability to act as a technical lead in multi-team escalations and customer-critical situations.
• Experience working with or supporting cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid deployments is preferred.
• English fluency required; additional languages a plus.

• Proven ability to resolve complex technical issues in distributed systems, particularly in storage-heavy, compute-intensive workloads.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical detail clearly and concisely.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a customer-facing Premium Services role that combines deep, hands-on Ceph architecture and administration with the high-touch, outcome-driven approach of a Senior Designated Services Engineer (DSE). You will be the primary Ceph subject matter expert for assigned strategic customers and internal initiatives, owning the design, deployment, lifecycle operations, and performance of Ceph-based object storage environments. Collaborating closely with Account Teams, you will gain deep insight into customers' business requirements, technical needs, and system environments. Your role involves resolving technical issues, bridging gaps between customers and Engineering, and ensuring the highest level of service.

Ceph Architecture & Operations

• Architect, deploy, and operate large-scale production Ceph clusters supporting S3 with an emphasis on availability, performance, and operational simplicity.
• Own cluster lifecycle activities: upgrades, patching, configuration management, routine health checks, and proactive risk remediation.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across the Ceph stack, lead incident response and root-cause analysis.
• Establish and maintain runbooks, operational best practices, and customer-facing documentation; drive continuous improvement in reliability, observability, and automation.
• Partner with customer teams on security and compliance requirements
• Advise on hardware and topology choices to meet workload requirements.

Designated Services Engineering

• Support account teams (Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Partners/Resellers) with deep technical expertise and credibility in front of senior customer stakeholders.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing through internal and customer-facing documentation (FAQs, KB articles, runbooks) and repeatable troubleshooting playbooks.
• Manage multiple engagements and cases concurrently, balancing urgency, impact, and long-term customer outcomes.
• Participate in on-call and follow-the-sun support rotations as required; work occasional alternative hours (nights/weekends/holidays) and travel as needed.

Learning & Growth at WEKA

• Ramp on WEKA’s architecture, tooling, and support model, and progressively take ownership of designated services engagements beyond Ceph.
• Develop deeper expertise in S3-compatible object storage concepts and ecosystems (clients, load balancing, performance testing, multi-tenancy), with mentorship from WEKA SMEs.
• Partner with internal teams to improve product supportability and operational excellence for object-storage use cases.

Requirements

We’re looking for a senior, customer-facing engineer who can lead Ceph architecture and operations today, and who is excited to grow into a broader object-storage and WEKA role.

• 10+ years in customer-facing technical roles solving complex enterprise infrastructure issues.
• 5+ years of hands-on Ceph experience in production: cluster design, deployment, upgrades, and day-2 operations.
• Strong understanding of Ceph internals and operational mechanics: MON quorum, MGR active/standby, OSD behavior, CRUSH and CRUSH maps, pools and placement groups (PGs), recovery/backfill and rebalancing.
• Experience operating large-scale (multi-PB) Ceph environments and navigating the operational challenges of fleet size, PG scaling, and long-running recovery events.
• Practical experience with Ceph RGW and S3 concepts (buckets, users/tenants, load balancing, scaling patterns, performance troubleshooting).
• Expertise in Linux/Unix administration in multi-platform, distributed environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, OS, networking, and distributed storage layers (including diagnosing performance bottlenecks and failure scenarios).
• Deep understanding of networking (Infiniband, Ethernet, DPDK, UCX), cloud computing, and distributed storage.
• Experience with observability and monitoring stacks (Prometheus/Grafana and common log/metrics tooling).
• Proficiency in Python and/or Bash; comfort building automation for monitoring, diagnostics, and repeatable operational tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

It’s Nice If You Have

• Experience with Kubernetes/Containers and/or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP) in storage-heavy environments.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Slack, and collaborating across Support, Engineering, and Product teams.
• Experience supporting HPC or AI/ML infrastructure (GPU clusters, high-throughput networking, performance benchmarking).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code or config management (Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
• Strong technical writing skills and a habit of creating reusable runbooks and playbooks.

Join GoFundMe as our next Staff Machine Learning Engineer (Pricing). In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy machine learning systems that power pricing and monetization programs across GoFundMe such as personalized donation and checkout experiences, donation yield optimization (one-time and recurring), recurring donor LTV optimization, fundraising goal suggestions, and more. This role requires strong end-to-end execution and deep expertise in building production ML systems (data → training → online inference → measurement) with rigorous experimentation and monitoring.

This is a hybrid position. Candidates considered for this role will be located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The Job…

• Own end-to-end ML systems for pricing optimization, from problem framing and metric definition (e.g., donation yield, conversion, retention, LTV) to model development, launch, and iteration in production.
• Design and implement backend model pipelines including feature engineering, training, and evaluation.
• Build low-latency real-time inferencing services, including API design, caching strategies, model packaging, and deployment on Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with teams to develop instrumentation and event pipelines to capture user and campaign activity required for training and evaluation (e.g., impression/click/submit, donation amount, tip amount, recurring enrollment/cancellation), ensuring schema quality, lineage, and privacy-by-design.
• Apply causal and experimental methodologies to measure impact and avoid biased optimization, including online A/B testing design, guardrail metrics, sequential testing considerations, and counterfactual/causal approaches when needed.
• Develop optimization approaches appropriate for pricing-like problems, such as uplift modeling, bandits, constrained optimization, calibration, and multi-objective tradeoffs (e.g., yield vs. donor trust, short-term conversion vs. long-term retention).
• Establish ML operational excellence by implementing model observability (latency, errors, drift, calibration, business KPI deltas), automated retraining triggers, rollback strategies, and incident response playbooks for pricing systems.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Design, and Legal/Privacy stakeholders to translate business goals into measurable technical deliverables and ship safely.
• Mentor and set technical direction for other engineers and scientists through design reviews, architecture decisions, and shared best practices for production ML in monetization.
• Employ a diverse set of tools and platforms, including Python, AWS, Databricks, Docker, Kubernetes, FastAPI, Terraform, Snowflake, and GitHub, to develop, deploy, and maintain scalable and robust machine learning systems. (Full-stack experience—e.g., integrating with web clients and experimentation frameworks—is a plus.)

• 7+ years of hands-on experience building and shipping production machine learning systems, with demonstrated ownership of backend services and ML pipelines in a high-availability environment.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML libraries/frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, plus strong software engineering fundamentals (testing, code review, CI/CD, API design, performance, and reliability).
• Demonstrated experience in pricing/monetization or growth optimization domains preferred.
• Experience designing and deploying real-time model serving (sub-100ms to low-hundreds ms latency targets), including containerization, scalable inference, feature retrieval, and safe rollout strategies (canaries, shadowing, backward-compatible schema evolution).
• Strong data engineering fluency: building reliable datasets and features using SQL, Spark/Databricks, and warehouse technologies (e.g., Snowflake), with an understanding of event semantics, identity resolution, and data quality controls.
• Working knowledge of experiment design and causal measurement for monetization systems, including pitfalls such as selection bias, interference, and delayed outcomes; familiarity with uplift modeling, bandits, or constrained optimization is a strong plus.
• Experience implementing ML monitoring for both technical and business metrics (drift, calibration, segment performance, latency, error budgets) and operating models in production.
• Ability to break down ambiguous, high-impact problems, define crisp interfaces and success metrics, and deliver iteratively with strong stakeholder communication.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills and a proven ability to raise the bar on architecture, engineering quality, and operational rigor for ML-powered pricing systems.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
