Conversational UX Designer - German speaking

JOB PURPOSE
This role is part of our Experience & Engineering team in Germany. We combine technology and experience design to create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products, and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is digital experiences and communication that change perceptions and shape new behaviours to make a difference in the market.
As UX Conversational Designer you lay the foundation for fantastic end-to-end user experiences: Combining UX design, dialogue structuring, and advanced prompt crafting to support intelligent, natural interactions in both chat and voice. You have an appetite for complex challenges and can’t wait to translate them into beautiful and smart digital products. And you enjoy working in a dynamic environment with the best and most fun people the industry has to offer.
WHAT YOU´LL DO
- Bringing new ideas around AI assistant best practices and cross-industry insights towards your project teams;
- Designing conversational flows and dialogue structures;
- Defining tone, voice, and assistant personality that works across channels and interaction styles;
- Translate strategy and insights into well considered user-centered flows;
- Substantiate your design choices with annotations and create simple prototypes;
- Presenting your work to clients and stakeholders and handle input and feedback;
- Working back-to-back with Product Managers, AI engineers and developers to help shape the final user experience;
- Conduct testing and iterative improvement of conversations and prompts, based on user behavior, conversational metrics, and qualitative feedback.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 4+ years of experience as UX and/or Conversational designer at an agency or renowned brand;
- Experience with designing chatbot or voicebot solutions;
- Excellent writing and communication skills, especially for task-oriented and natural-sounding dialogues
- A strong portfolio (website or PDF) demonstrating your experience and passion;
- Experience with working in multidisciplinary teams;
- Working proficiency in English and German;
- Experience with Figma and collaborative tools;
- Availability to start working in Germany.

Product Designer (UX/UI)
Position Overview
Diligent is looking for a Product Designer to support UX/UI design work within our dynamic and fast-moving product design team. Existing within the broader UX department, the design team oversees a range of projects providing the organization flexibility to explore future vision product work and support work that doesn’t align to product team roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Product Design Lead and/or Project Owner to ensure design work aligns with project requirements and meets internal quality standards.
- Take ownership of the end-to-end design process - from early concepts to high-fidelity visuals and developer handoff.
- Work closely with fellow designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Design intuitive, human-centered experiences for data-driven and AI-assisted features.
- Clearly communicate design decisions, demonstrating a solid understanding of user needs, design best practices, and business goals.
- Conduct user research activities as needed.
- Support and contribute to a culture of ongoing learning and continuous improvement.

Required Experience/Skills:
- 3+ years of professional experience in UX or product design.
- Solid foundation in UX principles with a strong emphasis on visual design.
- Comfortable managing multiple design tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Portfolio showcasing user-centered design work and a thoughtful design process.
- Degree in design, technology, psychology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Some experience designing SaaS products, ideally in B2B or enterprise contexts.
- Exposure to product design cycles — from early exploration to launch and iteration.
- Proficient with modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience designing for web and mobile platforms.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS is a strong plus.
- Bonus: Experience with illustration, iconography, or motion design.
A portfolio of work demonstrating your design process and passion for design – online or pdf is required for consideration!

- Act as the technical escalation point for customer issues arising from our SLA/SLS platform(s)

- Investigate issues which need further analysis to uncover root cause and partner with R&D/Documentation to deliver solutions
- Track occurrence rate of ongoing and newly arising issues, and champion efforts across the organization to resolve them
- Maintain systems that Services agents use to report customer issue
You:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent field
- Have 2-5 years of experience working in a technical role, ideally involving hardware, software and electrical systems
- Demonstrated experience liaising between technical and non-technical teams
- Highly accountable for pushing projects to completion, across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Can balance daily responsibilities and escalations with long term projects. Calm under pressure or when an answer is unknown.
- Have an acuity for data and analytics, and ideally familiarity with SQL and/or Google DataStudio (or similar)
Bonus Skills:
- Passion for 3D printing and emerging technologies
