From the glamour of the roaring 1920s to today’s buzzing café and bar culture, Budapest has always known how to keep the good times rolling. Inspired by the building’s history and by Hungarian sculptor Szigfrid Pongrácz’s four sculptures of Pandora crowning the palace, a symbol that even after turbulent times hope always finds its way back into the world, we created a space that reflects the city’s enduring spirit and love for lively gatherings. We've been waiting for you, since you have/are:

• completed professional training in the hotel industry and/or hold a degree in hospitality or business administration
• extensive experience in an operational leadership role or a similar position in lifestyle hospitality or gastronomy
• strong knowledge of POS, PMS, and business management.
• a motivating and charismatic leader and with your authentic and loyal nature both team lead and team player
• a warm and welcoming personality and your communication skills allow you to shine in every interaction
• a knack for charming guests, with a hands-on mentality to match
• speaking fluent in Hungarian and English

Join our Budapest team as an Office Manager, reporting to the Head of Global Facilities ensuring the smooth operation of our local office.

Your future role within QRT includes:

• Managing relationships with local office suppliers, ensuring reliable, cost-effective service through active vendor oversight and contract negotiation
• Support business travel needs resolving issues with our travel platform and helping onboard preferred hotel rates in line with policy
• Overseeing office supplies and consumables, including ordering, delivery, and stock management across the site
• Preparing meeting rooms and serving as the first point of contact for AV or equipment issues, liaising with IT as required
• Delivering a smooth onboarding experience for new joiners preparing welcome packs, conducting office tours and explaining key facilities and safety procedures
• Ensuring the daily upkeep and smooth running of the office environment
• Providing administrative support to the leadership team and coordinating as needed with key stakeholders
• Collaborating with global Office Managers to align practices and drive consistency across locations
• Supporting internal events and initiatives by assisting with logistics for team-building, philanthropy, and communications activities

Your present skillset:

• 5+ years’ experience in office coordination, facilities management, or a similar operational role
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with a high level of attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive and service-oriented approach
• Experienced working with vendors and external suppliers, with experience managing third-party relationships
• Confident using office software tools (e.g. Microsoft Office, Excel)
• Proficiency in both Hungarian and English is required

• take care of small repairs, touch-ups and maintenance tasks – from dripping taps to squeaky doors
• keep an eye on all technical systems and make sure everything runs smoothly
• coordinate external service providers and keep the strings in your hands when it comes to facility management
• roll up your sleeves for painting and sealing work throughout the hotel
• work hand in hand with our Corporate Office in Munich and stay closely aligned with the housekeeping team
• monitor regular maintenance and safety checks – always in coordination with our Maintenance Manager
• order the materials you need for your work – in consultation with the Hotel Manager

We've been waiting for you, since you have/are: 

• a true all-rounder with solid technical skills and craftsmanship. A completed apprenticeship in HVAC, plumbing or electrical work is a plus – but for us, your hands-on experience and versatile skills matter even more
• gained several years of professional experience in a similar role
• the ability to manage external service providers efficiently while staying on top of things
• skilled with your hands – whether it’s painting, electrical or plumbing, you jump in everywhere, find solutions, think ahead and keep things running
• confident, positive and have a good sense of humor – because fun is simply part of the job with us
• flexible enough to occasionally cover a weekend or evening shift
• fluent in Hungarian; English skills are a plus to make teamwork and communication with international guests smooth
