Role purpose

Manage and deliver all key elements of the employee lifecycle, ensuring that the employee experience is positive and engaging.(eNPS)
Work in line with Agile HR principals on People related projects across EMEA.

Key accountabilities 

Stay abreast of employment law and improve, implement, and manage people policies and procedures accordingly.
Advise, coach, and support management with all employee relation matters.
Work closely with leaders to mentor and coach them on upskilling their managerial skills and building a high performing team
Create and deliver programs to improve employee experience.
Analyze employee engagement results and suggest and deliver initiatives to improve.
Develop and deliver employee engagement initiatives to boost performance and morale.
Promote the mental and physical wellbeing of our employees.
Manage the compensation and benefit review process for all employees.
Collaborate with the business on EMEA projects which support the delivery of the Global People strategy and people excellence.
Help employees to plan and develop their careers.
Support managers to manage underperformers through Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and ensure alignment with company objectives.
Support managers with legal aspects in Probation period approval process.
Work closely with managers and employees to improve relationships and increase productivity and retention.
Enable the smooth running of Centers by working in collaboration with the Center Directors.
Present solutions to people issues that enable stakeholders to better meet their commercial growth objectives.
Maintain accurate people data to help drive evidence-based decision-making relating to people, ensure compliance, and assist in workforce planning.
Facilitate full utilization of our HR system (HiBob) across the organization.
Support managers with talent and succession planning, compensation management, and employee and leadership development.
Ensure Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) is aligned with company objectives.

Essential competencies

 4+ years of experience in field.

MENDIX DEVELOPER SUMMARY

We are collaborating with a major technology client whose mission is to digitally transform global shipping, utilizing aviation-grade technology and deep industry expertise to develop a cutting-edge, unified digital platform

We are forming the foundational Mendix team and are actively seeking dedicated and proactive Mendix Developers at various levels, such as Mid and Senior, for this pivotal greenfield project. This is a unique chance to join at the inception, helping us build a critical platform from the ground up. As one of our first hires in this technology, you will act as a founding pillar of a rapidly expanding team, directly influencing its technical direction, standards, and culture. Your expertise will be critical in designing, developing, and deploying high-impact business solutions on the Mendix platform, translating complex maritime workflows into elegant, scalable applications that deliver measurable value to our industry-leading client.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work in a team to own the end-to-end design, development and deployment of enterprise-grade Mendix applications, setting technical direction, patterns and standards.
• Translate business requirements into secure, performant data models, microflows and UI flows, balancing user experience with maintainability.
• Champion DevOps and CI/CD on Mendix Cloud, Kubernetes or Azure, automating build, test and release pipelines.
• Lead code reviews and enforce Mendix best practices, performance tuning and security hardening.
• Mentor and coach junior developers, cultivating a high performance, knowledge sharing culture.
• Collaborate closely with Product, UX and SMEs in agile squads, providing solution architecture input and delivery estimates.
• Continuously monitor platform evolution, piloting new Mendix releases and marketplace modules to keep the platform at the cutting edge.

REQUIREMENTS

• Advanced Mendix development related certification or proven experience building production Mendix apps.
• Proven track record in solution architecture, data integration and performance optimization on low code or full stack platforms.
• Solid grasp of CI/CD tooling, automated testing and DevOps for Mendix (MxBuild, ATS, Docker/K8s).
• Strong agile communication and stakeholder-management skills; ability to turn loosely-defined maritime processes into clear user stories.
• Hands-on experience with REST/JSON, OData, SQL, Java/JavaScript actions, and cloud services (Azure, AWS or Mendix Cloud).
• Familiarity with how to integrate Mendix apps with REST/GraphQL APIs, IoT data streams and external systems (ERP, IAM, cloud services) to create a unified ecosystem.
• Familiarity with ITIL (Foundation certification or hands-on use of Incident, Problem and Change processes) would be a plus.
• Nice-to-have: exposure to maritime OT/IT, IoT sensor data or aviation-grade safety-critical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
