About the Role 

Sezzle is seeking a Product Marketing Operations Intern to help us understand our users; what they do, what they think, and what it means for how we grow. This role sits within the Product organization and works directly with the Head of Product Marketing. 

The focus of the internship is insight generation. You'll dig into behavioral data to understand how users discover and engage with Sezzle's features, analyze survey and qualitative feedback to understand why they behave the way they do, and monitor ongoing tests to help the team understand what's working. Documentation & Insight Infrastructure

You will work across application teams, infrastructure, security, and engineering leadership to define patterns that improve database reliability by design — not just by operational response.

You should be comfortable owning problems end-to-end: understanding application behavior, reading code, reviewing database access patterns, building shared tooling, improving connection management, designing migration safety checks, analyzing production performance, and helping developers use databases in safer and more scalable ways.

About the Role

The IT Operations Intern will assist Sezzle’s IT Operations team with daily support tasks, troubleshooting, and project-based initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Break/Fix Work: Assist with diagnosing and resolving end-user device issues, including both macOS and Windows systems.
• Device Deployment: Support the setup, imaging, and distribution of laptops and peripherals for new and existing employees.
• Onboarding/Offboarding Support: Help provision accounts, configure systems for new hires, and assist with access removal and equipment collection for departures.

• Build and maintain new innovative product features focused on actively learning new areas of the product

• Be an active participant in design/architecture discussions sharing your ideas while building the next generation of features for the Sezzle platform  
• Hands-on with our codebase and a contributor to code reviews
• Mentor other engineers who are starting along their career path
• Work with the team to continuously build and deploy scalable solutions
• Assist in planning, estimations, and completion for projects brought up by the team stakeholders

What We Look For: 

• Experience solving technical problems as part of a team
• Bachelor's in computer science (required)
• Familiarity with modern Frontend Development, with React experience preferred
• Ability to solve problems with backend-focused languages like Go or similar compiled statically typed language
• Intermediate understanding of relational databases like MySQL

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
