Wolt is looking for a senior Android Engineer to expand our Consumer Mobile Platform team. The team is part of the Consumer Product group and is responsible for enabling the delivery of the consumer mobile apps that millions of people in over 20 countries around the world see when ordering food and other products.

Gigs is growing fast across markets, and we need someone to build the operational systems that make that growth possible. That includes compliance -- but this isn't a compliance role. It's a BizOps role where regulatory work is one of the hardest and most important problems you'll solve.
You'll build workflows, design processes, ship tooling, and work across Business Development, Legal, Product, and Engineering. You'll enable how we launch new markets, how we stay compliant across jurisdictions, and how we keep internal operations tight as we scale.

As a Senior Platform Engineer at Gigs, you'll work at the foundation of everything we build. You'll design, build, and operate the infrastructure and developer tooling that powers our connectivity and payments platform — enabling product teams to ship faster, more reliably, and at scale.
Our Foundation team owns the systems that every engineer at Gigs depends on: CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, observability, deployment tooling, and the shared platform services that keep our product running. We are pragmatic and aware of the trade-offs of a small team, making strategic decisions on where to show excellence and what we can’t bite off right now.

Our job is solid software engineering, not hype engineering. Carrier APIs differ a lot across countries, providers and regulatory regimes. Provisioning, porting, and eSIM lifecycle management happen in real-time with hard SLA requirements. Usage tracking, billing, and payments span multiple currencies and jurisdictions. Our systems need to be observable, operable, and resilient. When a carrier integration fails at 3am in a market far away, we need to know about it before the customer does.
Ours is a world where decades-old carrier protocols meet eSIMs, IoT, satellite connectivity, and the road to 6G. We are bridging that gap; making the old world programmable for the new one. We’re a platform company solving real, durable problems that don’t disappear when the hype cycle turns.
Our engineering team is doubling in 2026. Our job is solid software engineering, not hype engineering. Carrier APIs differ a lot across countries, providers and regulatory regimes. Provisioning, porting, and eSIM lifecycle management happen in real-time with hard SLA requirements. Usage tracking, billing, and payments span multiple currencies and jurisdictions. Our systems need to be observable, operable, and resilient. When a carrier integration fails at 3am in a market far away, we need to know about it before the customer does.
Ours is a world where decades-old carrier protocols meet eSIMs, IoT, satellite connectivity, and the road to 6G. We are bridging that gap; making the old world programmable for the new one. We’re a platform company solving real, durable problems that don’t disappear when the hype cycle turns.
Our engineering team is doubling in 2026. In the next step of our journey, we’re building out a senior IC track, hiring multiple staff and principal engineers, because the challenges we’re solving today are only getting deeper.
