As a Senior Marketing Artist/Motion Designer on Zynga’s Marketing Creative team, you will be responsible for designing Static and Video advertisements for Zynga's game titles. This role is a unique blend of Graphic Designer and Motion Graphic designer that supports various business and creative requirements. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently to generate a variety of creative executions inspired by a central selling point to engage a target audience.

What You'll Do:

• Contribute to an efficient, high-volume pipeline of User Acquisition advertising, App Store, brand marketing and live-ops marketing assets
• Strong Motion Design skills, Video editing experience and Graphic Design expertise
• Work with the Art Lead, Art Director, and Producer to create video and static marketing content from scratch that translates campaign goals and performs against KPIs.
• Efficiency to develop and execute marketing assets within the timeframes
• Engage in creative brainstorming, design retrospectives, and constructive feedback sessions; openly share in group settings to foster a culture of creativity & collaboration 
• Expert knowledge and experience in creative softwares and ability to mentor and guide junior designers.
• Sound technical knowledge on video production and seek to improve the team’s contribution.
• Ability to do research, explore more avenues of UA performance and share learnings.
• Develop/contribute to new production pipelines from past experience/learning

What You Bring:

• At least 8-9 years of professional experience developing and executing video and static creative
• Expertise in using all Adobe softwares like After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere etc with knowledge of Blender, Unreal, Unity as optional.
• Excellent grip on design and animation principles
• Thorough understanding of Trapcode suite, Red Giant Plugins, Element 3D, Optical Flares, and other industry plugins
• Strong conceptual and visual design skills leading to thoughtful creative executions
• Confident working in an extremely fast-paced environment with multiple projects and quick turn-around ensuring minimum quality loss
• Decent exposure and understanding of User Acquisition marketing
• An ability to manage multiple deadlines and thrive under pressure 
• Great communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Experience with User Acquisition Data analysis, creative strategy and mobile marketing trends are added advantages.
• Concept art, fine art, and 3D knowledge are added advantages.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior UI Artist to join our team.

The Senior UI Artist partners with Project Leads to help define and execute the UI vision for the product. This role contributes to creating intuitive, visually compelling, and user-centered interface designs that enhance usability and deliver a high-quality mobile game experience. The Senior UI Artist focuses on crafting interaction and visual solutions that improve accessibility, clarity, and overall player experience, informed by user insights and testing.

Responsibilities include participating in all stages of the UI design process, including concept development, prototyping, user and task flows, visual asset production, and in-engine implementation.

The Senior UI Artist collaborates closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistency and quality across the product’s visual language and interaction patterns. This role works in partnership with the Experience Design Director, Art Director, Product Management, and Engineering teams to maintain brand integrity and successfully execute the UI vision within the game.

What You Will Do:

• Collaborate with the product and design teams to conceptualize, define, and develop features that yield outstanding experiences for our players
• Synthesize the needs of players and all game departments to find solutions that work for all.
• Create user flows, interface wireframes, prototypes, and design documentation.
• Employ the classic design process of defining problems, researching, analyzing, designing, and validating results.
• Create UI design/layouts
• Create high-fidelity mock-ups for pre-visualization during pre-production
• Create UI art and visual design for user interfaces
• Develop mood boards and help guide the visual design of features
• Collaborate with the art team to define and stick to a thematic art style
• Participate in the planning and moderating of user testing
• Conduct market competitor research and deconstructs
• Participate in researching consumer insight, developing personas, and analyzing data
• Prepare assets for implementation in the game engine
• Partner with technical artists and engineers to implement user interface game assets in the game engine
• Be the owner of UI for game feature pods
• Mentor junior UI/UX staff

What You Bring: 

• 4+ years of experience in the game development industry specializing in UI/UX
• Demonstrated ability to adapt and adhere to an established visual style and build upon it
• Able to consistently produce high-quality visual assets for user interfaces
• Very proficient with standard creative software such as the Adobe Creative Suite
• Very proficient with UI layout & design tools (Figma, Sketch, or similar tools)
• Familiarity with collaborative virtual environments (Miro, FigJam)
• Competent at designing and authoring functional UI animation
• Experienced in traditional game development methods and processes
• Well-practiced and proficient with creating user interfaces in game engines (like Unity or Unreal)
• Skills with collaborating and partnering with technical team members such as Tech Art and Engineering
• Experienced in working with the limitations and standard methodologies of developing games for mobile devices
• Education: Bachelor's degree in HCI, Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or related area required. A combination of education and experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree
