About Nubank’s Mobile Platform - Global Experience Design
The Mobile Platform’s mission aligns with Nubank’s commitment to delivering the best experience for our customers by ensuring a high-performing, stable, and seamless app.
Within Mobile Platform, focuses on providing user-friendly, scalable, high-performing, and cost-efficient app infrastructure components and mobile tools that enable Nubank engineers to quickly and safely test, deploy, monitor, analyze, and improve app flows and features.
Global Experience Design is one of Nubank’s building blocks, bringing together UX, design, and customer experience. The team works on evolving the app experience and the design system, connecting Mobile Platform, App Excellence, Design Systems, and App Core to create simple, consistent, and scalable experiences. The Opportunity
This role will involve working across a variety of technologies, including Native, Flutter, and related frameworks. We are looking for a Staff Mobile Engineer with solid experience to join the Mobile Platform team — a cross-impact engineering team responsible for building and maintaining the core infrastructure of the mobile application, optimizing our performance, and enabling product teams to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.
What We’re Looking For
Must Have:
- Proven and solid experience in technical development of mobile applications at a strategic leadership level.
- Strong technical background with Flutter and/or native mobile development (Android/iOS).
- Solid understanding of mobile software engineering principles, architectural patterns, and modularization strategies.
- Experience with server driven UI, performance optimization, dependency injection, and migration of core systems.
- Knowledge of mobile observability, monitoring, and debugging tools.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Track record of delivering results in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with backend technologies, especially those integrated with mobile applications.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and large-scale app architecture.
- Contributions to internal SDKs, libraries, or mobile design systems.
- Understanding of user authentication, session management, and app state handling.

O desafio
Você vai construir os serviços distribuídos que fazem nosso Super App funcionar pra milhões de pessoas. Seu objetivo será garantir alta disponibilidade e baixa latência, com decisões de arquitetura que impactam de verdade a experiência de quem usa o app.
Mais do que só implementar, a gente quer que você participe das decisões técnicas e ajude a evoluir o jeito que a gente faz tecnologia no Inter.
- Desenvolver e manter aplicativos nativos [Swift/SwiftUI | Kotlin/Jetpack].
- Implementar telas, navegação e integração com APIs.
- Garantir testes e boas práticas de código e arquitetura (ex.: MVVM).
- Participar de code review e cerimônias do time.
- Apoiar decisões de arquitetura e evolução do app.
- Contribuir para padrões, performance e guias técnicos do time mobile
- Atuar usando IA e tecnologias para automatizar a produção de código
- Graduação completa em área tecnológica
- Experiência em desenvolvimento nativo para iOS ou Android: Para iOS: Conhecimento em Swift, guidelines da Apple e gerenciamento de dependências. Para Android: Conhecimento em Kotlin, guidelines do Google, Jetpack Components, Coroutines e MVVM.
- Conhecimento em testes unitários e instrumentados para garantir a qualidade do código;
- Disponibilidade para trabalho presencial
- Experiência com Server-Driven UI ou fluxos complexos (onboarding, formulários).
- Conhecimento de CI/CD para mobile (Fastlane, Gradle, Xcode Cloud).
- Prática de testes unitários e de UI.
- Conhecimento da outra plataforma (iOS e Android) ou React Native/Flutter.
- Vivência com metodologias ágeis (Scrum, Kanban)
