About the Role

ML Engineering at Nubank

Você fará parte do nosso time de Políticas de cobrança para desenvolver, testar e otimizar políticas de recuperação de crédito sem garantia, conectando métricas operacionais a resultados financeiros (cura, P&L, LLP) e gerindo riscos. Atuará com desenho de réguas, análises de KPIs e experimentação (A/B, champion-challenger).

• Desenhar, testar e implementar políticas de recuperação de crédito sem garantia.

Você atuará na transformação de dados em insights acionáveis, apoiando de forma ágil e contínua a tomada de decisão nos processos de crédito e cobrança.

No seu dia a dia, você vai: 

• Realizar análises exploratórias, diagnósticas e explicativas sobre dados de crédito e cobrança;

Você será responsável por construir a fundação operacional que permitirá ao nosso time de CS ser mais eficiente, proativo e orientado a dados. Aqui suas responsabilidades serão:

• Liderança e Desenvolvimento: liderar, mentorar e desenvolver um time de alta performance de especialistas em CS Ops, definindo metas claras (OKRs) e promovendo uma cultura de melhoria contínua e colaboração;
• Estratégia Operacional: desenvolver e executar a estratégia de operações de Customer Success, alinhada aos objetivos da empresa, garantindo que o time de CS tenha tudo o que precisa para ter sucesso;
• Processos e Escalabilidade: mapear, desenhar e otimizar processos de ponta a ponta do ciclo de vida do cliente (onboarding, engajamento, renovação, etc.), buscando automação e eficiência para suportar nosso crescimento acelerado;

Qualificações e habilidades que você precisa ter:

• Sólida experiência em Customer Success Operations, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations ou áreas correlatas em empresas de tecnologia (SaaS é um grande diferencial);
• Experiência comprovada em gestão de equipes, com habilidade para desenvolver talentos e inspirar resultados;
• Profundo conhecimento em ferramentas de CRM (Salesforce é um grande diferencial) e plataformas de atendimento ao cliente; 
• Habilidade analítica e forte orientação a dados, com experiência na criação de métricas, dashboards e relatórios (conhecimento em SQL ou ferramentas de BI como Looker/Tableau é uma vantagem);

About the role

Our Engineering team helps Nubank to create and use the technology that provides us to build the best financial products. We strive for state-of-the-art software development practices that currently include a variety of technologies. While we value candidates that are familiar with them, we are also confident that software engineers who are interested in joining Nubank will be able to learn from our team. The software engineer is focused on software development with Clojure as the main programming language (We will teach you Clojure). Main responsibilities:

• Horizontally scalable microservices written mostly in Clojure, using Finagle and leveraging upon functional programming techniques and hexagonal architecture
• High throughput jobs and inter-service communication using Kafka
• Continuous Integration and Deployment into AWS
• Storing data in Datomic and DynamoDB
• Monitoring and observability with Prometheus
• Running as much as possible in Kubernetes

You will be responsible for

• Work with large scale distributed systems, understanding their broad architecture

We are looking for a person who has

• At least 10 years of experience developing digital products in complex environments
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies
• Proven track record of designing and delivering large-scale systems that serve thousands (or even millions) of users
• Strong background in object-oriented or functional programming languages, with ability to work across multiple languages
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives across multiple teams without direct authority
• Experience mentoring senior engineers and raising the technical bar across organizations
• Practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies and previous experience with CI/CD
• Good communication skills to prevent risks and explain trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
