About the role
As an early member of our India Revenue Strategy & Operations team, you'll play a hands-on role supporting revenue growth across key market segments by partnering with sales leadership to execute region-specific strategies. You'll be close to the day-to-day of the business — running the operational cadence, building the analysis, and keeping our systems and processes running smoothly as we scale in India.
You'll work closely with S&O counterparts across Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, and the wider APJ region, learning from and contributing to how we operate across the region.
Responsibilities:
Go-to-Market Operations:
- Support the Go-to-Market planning process for India, including quarterly and annual cycles, and help prepare inputs for target setting with Finance.
- Assist in territory and account segmentation, keeping assignments accurate and up to date as the business evolves.
- Build and maintain reporting on region-specific sales metrics, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy.
- Pull together market and competitive data to support regional expansion priorities.
- Support partner and alliance execution, including co-sell tracking, partner pipeline hygiene, and joint planning logistics.
Analysis & Insights:
- Dig into sales data to surface trends, risks, and opportunities, and translate findings into clear recommendations for sales leadership.
- Build dashboards and recurring reports that give the team visibility into what's working and what isn't.
- Prepare materials for business reviews, QBRs, and leadership updates — pulling the data, building the slides, and helping shape the narrative.
Operations & Systems:
- Execute day-to-day operational processes including account transitions, CRM updates, opportunity hygiene, and data management.
- Help maintain and improve our Salesforce setup, reports, and dashboards for the India team.
- Troubleshoot issues for sales reps and leaders, and partner with global RevOps to implement improvements.
- Support adoption of sales tools and enablement resources across the India team.
Required qualifications:
- 10 to 12 years of experience in revenue operations, sales strategy, business operations, or a related analytical role in B2B SaaS or enterprise software
- Strong analytical and Excel/Google Sheets skills, with the ability to turn raw data into clear insights
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce (reports, dashboards, data management) and comfort working in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker)
- Strong attention to detail and a bias toward action — you like getting into the weeds and shipping work
- Good cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to partner with sales reps, managers, and adjacent teams
- Based in India with working proficiency in English
Strong candidates may also have:
- Exposure to territory design, quota setting, or sales compensation work
- Experience supporting GTM planning cycles or building executive-level reporting
- Familiarity with the broader APJ region and curiosity about how different markets operate
- Experience in a high-growth B2B software environment
- Background in consulting, finance, or business operations

About the role
As an India Public Sector Account Executive at Anthropic, you'll drive the adoption of safe, frontier AI within the Indian government and public sector space, establishing and growing our presence in this strategic market. Responsibilities
- Lead Anthropic's market entry and expansion in the Indian public sector, establishing our presence and building relationships with key stakeholders across central and state government departments, ministries, and agencies
- Own the full sales cycle for Indian public sector opportunities, from initial outreach through to successful deployment, with a focus on building long-term strategic partnerships
- Navigate the unique procurement requirements, security standards, and compliance frameworks specific to Indian government technology adoption, including GeM (Government e-Marketplace) and other procurement channels
- Collaborate with policy teams to ensure alignment with Indian government AI strategies, the IndiaAI Mission, and Digital India initiatives
- Engage actively with government-led AI initiatives, including participation in forums like the India AI Impact Summit and state-level AI conferences
- Design and execute innovative sales strategies tailored to the Indian public sector environment, meeting and exceeding revenue targets while maintaining strong relationships with procurement teams and decision-makers
- Provide market intelligence and feedback to product teams to ensure our offerings meet Indian public sector requirements, use cases, and regulatory considerations

- Experience navigating India's regulatory environment, including data localization requirements, IT Act compliance, and emerging AI governance frameworks

About the role

About the role
We are seeking a Strategic Finance, GTM member to join our Finance team at Anthropic to partner with sales counterparts. In this role, you will be a key partner to our go-to-market teams, providing financial expertise and guidance to support strategic decision-making. About the Role
We're looking for an Applied AI Engineer to join our Beneficial Deployments team. You’ll use your deep technical expertise to help partners accelerate their impact through advising on evals, hill-climbing on harnesses, prototyping new agents, etc. You will also work on building ecosystem-level tooling and infrastructure to scale impact beyond individual partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a deep technical partner to mission-driven organizations through advising on evals, agent architectures, context engineering, cost optimization, and more
- Provide hands-on support to partner engineering teams through pair programming, prototyping, and code contributions that accelerate their development
- Develop public goods infrastructure that benefits entire ecosystems through benchmarks, MCP’s, and Agent Skills
- Identify challenges unique to social impact partners, and contribute findings and improvements back to product, engineering, and research
- Create technical presentations, demos, and scalable technical content (documentation, tutorials, sample code) to accelerate partner adoption and self-service

About the Role
As Anthropic's first Enterprise Account Executive for Industries in India, you'll pioneer our enterprise AI adoption strategy across the subcontinent's diverse industrial landscape. You'll be at the forefront of this transformation, helping enterprises leverage AI to serve not just India's 1.4 billion people but also their global operations.
Responsibilities
Market Building and Strategy Development
- Establish Anthropic's enterprise presence across key Indian industrial sectors including BFSI, Manufacturing, IT/ITES, Pharmaceutical, Retail, Telecom, and Energy
- Develop sector-specific strategies that account for Indian regulatory requirements, data localization needs, and industry-specific compliance standards
- Build relationships with key stakeholders including CXOs, digital transformation leaders, and innovation heads at India's top enterprises
- Create the India playbook for enterprise AI adoption, documenting successful approaches that can scale across the region
Revenue Generation and Account Development
- Own end-to-end sales cycles for complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals, often involving board-level decisions
- Drive strategic expansion within lighthouse accounts that can serve as references for their entire industry
- Navigate procurement processes unique to Indian enterprises, including rate contracts, empanelment procedures, and multi-year agreements
- Collaborate with system integrators and consulting partners who often influence enterprise technology decisions in India
Solution Development and Customer Success
- Co-innovate with customers to develop India-specific use cases, from vernacular customer service to automated compliance reporting
- Understand sector-specific challenges such as financial inclusion in BFSI, supply chain optimization in manufacturing, or patient care in healthcare
- Position AI strategically within the context of Digital India initiatives and enterprise modernization programs
- Ensure successful deployments that can scale from proof-of-concept to enterprise-wide implementation
Cross-functional Leadership and Market Intelligence
- Partner with global product teams to prioritize features critical for Indian enterprises, such as multi-language support and integration with local systems
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to navigate India's evolving AI and data protection regulations
- Provide market intelligence on competitive dynamics, pricing expectations, and emerging use cases unique to India
- Build internal alignment between Anthropic's global strategy and India's market requirements
You May Be a Good Fit If You Have
Essential Experience
- 8-10+ years of enterprise sales experience in the Indian market, with a proven track record of closing large, complex deals
- Deep understanding of Indian enterprises including decision-making processes, budget cycles, and stakeholder dynamics
- Experience selling transformational technology (Cloud, AI/ML, Digital Transformation platforms) to Indian enterprises
- Established relationships with senior executives across multiple industry verticals
Industry and Market Knowledge
- Sector expertise in at least 2-3 major Indian industries with understanding of their unique challenges and opportunities
- Familiarity with Indian business groups and conglomerates, understanding how decisions flow in these complex organizations
- Knowledge of government initiatives like Digital India, Smart Cities, and their impact on enterprise technology adoption
- Understanding of Indian regulatory landscape including data protection laws, sector-specific compliance requirements
Skills and Competencies

About the role
As the Head of Enterprise Sales, India at Anthropic, you will spearhead the strategic development and execution of our AI products, including Claude, across India. This role represents a critical leadership position in expanding Anthropic's presence in one of the world's fastest-growing and most dynamic technology markets.
You will initially establish and lead a specialized team of enterprise sales professionals across the region, creating our foundational sales infrastructure for that customer segment. After successfully establishing our regional presence, this role will likely transition to focus on a specific sub-region or sub-segment as we scale our India operations.
Your responsibilities will encompass building the sales team, developing strategic partnerships with our customers, , collaborating with our Product team to ensure regional market fit, and maintaining alignment with our global headquarters strategy. This position requires deep enterprise sales expertise, preferably with exposure to AI technologies, and the ability to navigate the complex regulatory and cultural landscape of the Indian market.

- Develop and execute comprehensive India go-to-market strategy for Enterprise customers
- Build and lead a high-performing, sustainable Enterprise sales team and motion across the region, including executing against a predefined list of tentpole strategic customers
- Establish strategic partnerships with major technology partners
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to adapt offerings for the Indian market
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and refine our regional approach
- Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes within large organizations
- Craft and execute strategies to differentiate Anthropic and capture market share, addressing the unique challenges of being a second-mover in the AI industry
- Ensure alignment between regional operations and global corporate strategy, representing India's priorities to global leadership

You may be a good fit if you have
- 18+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing large-scale sales operations
- Have a proven track record of success in enterprise sales, particularly in selling technical API products or services
- Possess experience selling through partner sales and ideally through cloud partners
- Demonstrate an ability to build and scale enterprise sales teams in a high-growth environment
- Have successfully sold into India's leading enterprises, digital natives and conglomerates
- Show a history of creative problem-solving and persistence in competitive markets
- Possess deep knowledge of the enterprise tech industry, particularly in areas like cloud services, data management, or AI
- Excel at building internal champions within client organizations
