About the role
Your role will have a direct and tangible impact on driver safety, engagement, and marketplace quality that you can see in real time. If you’re ready to take full ownership, drive meaningful change, and shape the experience of drivers and riders in Baku—this is your opportunity.
You will lead and execute local safety and driver engagement initiatives, working closely with cross-functional and HQ stakeholders to ensure a safe, reliable, and high-quality platform experience.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Your daily adventures will include.
- Analysing data to improve driver safety, engagement, and overall marketplace health.
- Designing and implementing local safety initiatives to reduce incidents and improve platform trust.
- Developing and executing driver engagement programs to improve retention, satisfaction, and performance.
- Monitoring key safety and engagement KPIs, identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure operational processes support excellent Rider experiences and satisfaction.
- Collaborating with Support, Policy, and Product teams to ensure effective incident management and continuous safety improvements.
- Building and maintaining relationships with local stakeholders, including authorities and regulatory bodies where relevant.
- Optimising local operational processes and implementing scalable solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
- Taking ownership of safety and driver engagement strategy in Baku, ensuring strong alignment between local and HQ teams.
About you:
- You have 3–5+ years of experience in Operations, Program Management, Consulting, or a related field.
- You have prior experience in an operations management or team leadership role.
- You are highly analytical with a data-driven mindset and strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- You are a strong leader and collaborator with excellent communication skills.
- You have professional fluency in Azerbaijani and English (both written and spoken).
- You are a problem-solver with the ability to structure complex challenges and drive execution.
- You have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Economics, Finance, or other analytical subject.
- You have a strong sense of ownership with a hands-on approach.
- You are comfortable with developing analytical and decision frameworks to support your strategies and decisions.
