Interior Designer – Commercial Interior Design
Greenbox Architecture is looking for an Interior Designer to join our team working across high‑quality commercial interior and architectural projects.
This role suits someone who’s confident managing smaller projects end‑to‑end, while contributing to larger projects within a collaborative studio environment. You’ll be involved from early briefing through to delivery, taking an active role in design, documentation, and coordination.
What you’ll do:
- Manage interior and architectural projects from brief to completion
- Act as the main client contact on smaller projects
- Coordinate consultants, project meetings, and authority approvals
- Produce design documentation, specifications, and freehand sketches
- Work in Revit/BIM, supporting model health and Revit family development
- Create 3D visualisations and renders
- Support resourcing, invoicing, and project admin via Deltek PI
About you:
- Experience in commercial interior design and/or architecture
- Confident client communicator with strong organisational skills
- Proficient in Revit and 3D visualisation workflows
- Collaborative, detail‑focused, and design‑driven

Mid-level Project Architect/Designer -Sydney

About You:
We seek a mid-level project architect/designer with experience of complex projects, a solid understanding of design development and delivery, adept at problem-solving and collaboration with team members and consultants for optimal project outcomes. This is a role with a huge growth potential.
You will be joining an emerging team of architects and designers in our Sydney office You will play a crucial part of the growth in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capable of working on complex, multi-phase projects with a focus on achieving high-quality outcomes and compliance with regulations.
- Prepare architectural drawings, models that accurately reflect the design intent. Assist in ensuring designs and technical documentation are compliant with project requirements and standards under supervision of senior staff.
- Communicates design concepts effectively to clients and stakeholders using strong visual and verbal presentation skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 5 years of local experience
- Has a good understanding of design and construction documentation
- Has a solid understanding of Australian building codes
- Strong level of technical/construction knowledge is highly regarded
- Experience working in complex commercial project or large scale multi-residential projects is highly regarded
- Capacity to work as part of a team with the ability to work autonomously as required
- Revit proficiency is essential
- Rendering (Enscape, Lumion) and Photoshop skills will also be highly regarded

Senior Project Architect/Designer – Sydney

About You:
We seek a senior project architect/designer with experience of all phases of complex commercial projects, a solid understanding of design development and delivery, adept at problem-solving and collaboration with team members and consultants for optimal project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivers design and documentation required throughout each phase of the project lifecycle, with the team and under the guidance of Directors. Skilled in design development, technical drawing, and project coordination. Demonstrates expertise in various aspects of design/documentation or a good understanding of all aspects, including concept development, space planning, material selection, and construction documentation.
- Capable of working on and leading parts of complex, multi-phase projects with a focus on achieving high-quality outcomes and compliance with regulations.
- Prepare architectural drawings, models that accurately reflect the design intent. Assist in ensuring designs and technical documentation are compliant with project requirements and standards under supervision of senior staff.
- Take the lead on major presentations and negotiations. Communicates design concepts effectively to clients and stakeholders using strong visual and verbal presentation skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 8 years of local experience
- Has a good understanding of design and construction documentation through the life cycle of the project
- Has a solid understanding of the NCC, Australian Standards and relevant industry regulations
- Strong level of technical/construction knowledge is highly regarded
- Experience working in complex commercial project is required.
- Capacity to work as part of a team as well as lead a team under the guidance of directors
- Revit proficiency is essential
