We’re hiring a Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic) at our rental facility in Hutto, TX, and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, provide maintenance and repair for a variety of customer and company owned heavy equipment machinery and aerial lifts and help us build the future of construction. Mechanics will have the opportunity to work on the newest fleet in the industry.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and offers overtime pay after working 40 hours. (This role is subject to on-call scheduling with additional compensation provided)

Primary Responsibilities

As a Field Technician, you’ll use our tech to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues faster by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models. With real-time information at your fingertips, you can determine the root cause and corrective action for each issue quickly, enabling you to work smarter, not harder.

• Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment

• Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably

• Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools while using a high degree of independent judgment

• Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed

• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis

• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts

• Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred)

• Field Mechanic: When required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner

• Year-round company provided OEM training

• Must own tools applicable to position

• Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools

• Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs

• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics

• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills

• EPA 608 certification is preferred. If you do not already have the certification, you should be able to obtain it within 6-12 months of employment.

Primary Responsibilities

We don’t just deliver equipment - we deliver innovation. At EquipmentShare, our technology ensures that our drivers work efficiently and effectively by providing real-time access to fleet locations, work orders, and delivery details.

• Operates vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws

• Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations

• Deftly maneuvers truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas; follows loading crew signals

• Assists with loading of or loads and unloads goods and materials, using specialized equipment when warranted; unloads empty skids and returns all equipment to designated area

• Maintains signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork; delivers documentation to shipping office or other appropriate staff when delivery route is complete

• Facilitates routine service on trucks, which may include checking oil, water, gasoline, and air; reports maintenance malfunctions to Shipping Supervisor

• Arranges trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns

Education and Experience:

• Must hold either a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license depending on state, appropriate for weight of vehicle to be operated

• Must pass DOT physical, as trucks driven are over 10k lbs

• Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab for long periods of time

• Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds at a time

• Must be able to travel frequently

• CDL drivers may be required to be clean shaven in order to deliver to EquipmentShare customers who have this requirement

As a Lead Service Valet, you will work in conjunction with the District Manager and assist with managing the total service delivery for the district’s apartment communities.  This includes providing direction and oversight for the Service Valets within the assigned district.
 

Essential duties include:

• Deliver on our “every door every night” business expectation and set the standard in delighting our residents
• Assist District Manager with training Service Valets
• Spot check Service Valets, focusing on safety, quality control and productivity

• Collect same night missed trash, walk/track problem properties
• Communicate with District Manager concerning delays, unsafe sites, accidents, and other maintenance problems
• Provide waste and recycling collection coverage for understaffed properties within an assigned district
• Document and report all property and resident non-compliance
• Provide oversight of the nightly collection process during District Manager days off
• Assist with evening recruiting efforts – may include referral generation and flyer distribution
• Provide candidates with a realistic job preview from the Service Valet perspective
• Assist with presentations during team meetings
• Assist the District Manager with coordinating work schedules, evaluating job performance and motivating Service Valets
• Provide leadership for the Service Valets in the areas of safety and training

Key Responsibilities

• Install HVAC ductwork, piping, and equipment according to specifications, work orders, and safety standards.
• Install and assemble sheet metal, flex duct, and fiberglass duct systems
• Measure and cut insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam, or other thermal products.
• Seal duct systems properly to ensure energy efficiency and airflow performance
• Install dampers, vents, registers, and related components
• Work closely with HVAC installers and project leads to complete jobs on schedule
• Install vapor barriers and protective coverings where required.
• Review daily work schedule and ensure truck is stocked with insulation materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and completed work.
• Follow all company safety standards and keep job sites clean.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2 years’ experience installing residential HVAC ducting systems

Responsibilities: 

• Passion for capturing video & audio elements that produce compelling and engaging news, sports, features and documentary-style stories in a daily deadline environment.
• Operate an ENG truck or IP video-based live unit (TVU) when assigned.
• Be assigned to either work in a team or solo for daily news assignments. 
• Attend editorial meetings, participate in discussions, and suggest story ideas. 
• Use creative production techniques such as graphics and new forms of media (viewer pictures, webcam interviews, etc.) to enhance stories. 

Requirements:

What your shift will look like:

• Drive across Austin Area delivering customer orders while following all safety protocols
• Will be in the warehouse if not making deliveries
• Enter and exit the vehicle from the driver’s door/cargo bay doors to pull the customer’s order and stack it on the dolly, ensuring no product is damaged in the process
• Determine placement of merchandise while following safety and lifting protocols during deliveries
• Use a hand truck to move cases and loose items across various building obstacles such as stairs, ramps, and sidewalks
• Correctly identify any order issues and resolve them in real-time
• Utilize a handheld device for routing and obtaining or submitting customer information
• Using an RF scanner, identify and pull items to build customer orders
• Frequently move boxes weighing up to 60 pounds throughout the fulfillment center
• Operate a hand truck, pallet jack, or electric pallet jack to move inventory across the fulfillment center
• Assist with the loading and unloading of merchandise and non-inventory in and out of delivery vehicles, trucks, and vans
• Perform all tasks as assigned
• Must be able read, write, & understand/speak English
