Your Impact
As a Priority Support Engineer, you’re not just resolving technical issues — you’re a trusted advisor and escalation authority for Axon’s most critical customers. You’ll have the autonomy to assess complex, high-impact cases, make real-time decisions to stabilize customer operations, and drive cross-functional efforts that shape how Axon delivers world-class support.
You’ll act as the bridge between frontline support, higher support tiers, engineering, and product teams — using your technical acumen and customer insight to influence product improvements, operational workflows, and service-level strategies. Your independent judgment and ownership mindset will directly impact customer trust, product adoption, and Axon’s brand reputation in the field.
This role offers high ownership and autonomy. Engineers are trusted to make informed decisions in complex, ambiguous situations, prioritize high-value work, and serve as technical SMEs for Axon’s most strategic customers. Candidates must be sharp, adaptable, and unstoppable: capable of navigating high-pressure environments with confidence and clarity.
What You’ll Do
Location: Candidates must be located in the following locations: Scottsdale, AZ
Reports to: Manager, Technical Support
- Case Ownership: Full lifecycle ownership of support cases for designated high-priority customers, including triage, prioritization, resolution, and follow-up.
- Independent Judgment: Empowered to make real-time decisions regarding escalation paths, interim solution, and technical approaches based on severity and customer impact.
- Defined Goal Execution: Operate with broad autonomy once objectives are defined (e.g., resolution efficiency, escalation reduction), with latitude in selecting methods and tools to meet outcomes.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a technical SME across specific product domains; contribute to Tier 1 enablement, documentation, and internal training as needed.
- Process Adaptability: Authorized to adapt standard procedures when warranted by situational demands, provided decisions align with core support and customer service objectives.
- Ambiguity Management: Expected to take initiative in undefined or novel scenarios, identifying risks and acting proactively with minimal or no direction.
- This role assumes a high degree of trust and requires consistency in decision-making, accountability for outcomes, and alignment with team-wide quality and communication standards.
What You Bring
- 2+ years technical support experience in complex software, hardware, or cloud-based environments
- Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and make time-sensitive decisions in ambiguous, high-stakes situations
- Deep technical aptitude in Windows environments, networking, mobile ecosystems, and cloud applications
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with ability to adapt language and approach for audiences ranging from IT admins to command staff
- Demonstrated ownership mindset (#OWNIT): proactive, accountable, and results-oriented
- Strong problem-solving ability with a data-driven approach to identifying patterns and preventing recurrence
- Proven ability to work autonomously while effectively influencing across teams and functions
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience in Axon applications (Salesforce, MS Dynamics, JIRA, InContact, and Vonage)
- 2+ years in networking or telecommunications, ideally within public safety or government sectors
- Relevant technical certifications (Network+, CCNA, MCSA, etc)
- System Administration or Cloud Infrastructure certifications

Senior Solution Sales Engineer -
Position Description:
We believe Solutions Engineers at Okta are involved in all stages of the customer’s development lifecycle and are experienced using presentations, email, phone and social media to connect with customers. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with account executives to develop and execute territory and account strategies to maximize the Okta opportunity in those accounts
- Conduct research and discovery to understand customer requirements and communicate the business value of solving technology problems using cloud technology
- Execute the delivery of POCs for customers with complex use cases, collaborating with other Okta engineering teams as needed

Required Skills:
- 5+ years pre-sales engineering experience
- A passion to serve the customer, which has played out in some customer-facing role like consulting or support, ideally solutions engineering
- An ability to quickly and effectively communicate complex technical concepts via presentation, slides and whiteboard
- A Strong Understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- SSO, MFA, SCIM, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and LDAP.
- Lifecycle management, role-based access control (RBAC), and provisioning/deprovisioning.
- A strong understanding of Zero Trust Architecture and core security concerns within a typical application (password hashing, SSL/TLS, encryption at rest, XSS, XSRF)
- Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: web (JavaScript, HTML, frontend frameworks) development, mobile (iOS, Android) development, backend (Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby) development, IP-based real-time communications
- Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
- You are an elite communicator
- Can identify, map, and manage multiple personas: IT admins, CISOs, architects, procurement, and legal.
- Confident dispensing knowledge to a highly skilled and experienced audience
- Typically 10-25% travel
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or a comparable field is preferred.

As a Senior Software Engineer on Axon’s Robotics team, you’ll be at the forefront of transforming how law enforcement and military agencies deploy advanced robotic systems. You will work with a talented, fast-paced team focused on building the Android-based software application that will run on Axon’s Ground Control Station (GCS) used by operators to interact with advanced ground and air robots. What You’ll Do

- Lead engineering architecture and design reviews to ensure high standards in software quality.
- Collaborate with the Axon product design team to turn mobile UI designs into functional, engaging solutions.
- Drive the entire mobile software lifecycle, from prototyping to commercialization and post-launch support.
- Interface with cloud services for seamless integration across platforms.
- Set a high technical standard for the team through code and design reviews.
- Mentor engineers, fostering growth and technical skill development within the team.
- Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet customer needs.
- Enhance engineering processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and long-term planning.
- Build robust and reliable mission critical software that meets high standards for stability in mission-critical applications.
- Collaborate closely with other groups to align on goals, ensuring we deliver impactful and innovative solutions.
What You Bring
- 6+ years of industry experience shipping Android applications to the Google Play Store.
- Understand the ins and out of mobile phones; expected to lead mobile design reviews as well as the implementation of their designs to release and post-release monitoring

YOUR IMPACT
As a Senior RF Engineer II on the Wireless & Connectivity Center of Excellence (CoE) team, you will lead the design and development of advanced wireless connectivity solutions across Axon’s product portfolio — including Body-Worn Cameras, in-vehicle systems, wearables, and other next-generation platforms.
You will own RF architecture and implementation across a broad range of wireless technologies — from integration of Wi-Fi + Bluetooth combo modules to detailed chip-down cellular designs — spanning PCB layout, RF routing, matching networks, and antenna port optimization. Your deep expertise in LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, and related wireless systems will be applied to hands-on design, validation, and performance optimization of mission-critical video and communications products serving law enforcement, public safety, and enterprise customers.
You will leverage your technical depth, disciplined engineering approach, passion for wireless innovation, and strong ownership mindset to deliver robust, high-performance designs that meet the demanding reliability and coexistence requirements of real-world public safety environments.
In addition to leading complex RF circuit designs, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional global engineering teams — spanning industrial design, hardware, firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and regulatory — to deliver world-class products at scale. As a senior technical contributor, you will influence architectural decisions, drive best practices in RF design and validation, and mentor engineers to elevate the overall technical capability of the organization.
This role offers the opportunity to apply and expand your expertise while contributing to technologies that directly enhance public safety, operational effectiveness, and community trust.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead the RF design and integration of high-performance wireless subsystems for compact, battery-powered portable and vehicular products (drones, automotive-mounted systems, mobile devices, action cameras)
- Actively contribute to the hands on design and optimization of chip-down RF circuitry and integrated modules for technologies such as LTE, 5G, GNSS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth technologies, ensuring robust performance across complex multi-radio systems
- Own the RF system architecture and execution from concept through mass production, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including electrical, mechanical, and software engineering
- Partner with antenna engineers to select, evaluate, and integrate antenna solutions—printed, PCB, or metal—into high-density product designs
- Conduct RF system debugging, interference mitigation, and receiver desense analysis to optimize real-world performance
- Drive PCB layout for RF integrity, performing detailed layout reviews and driving design recommendations to ensure optimal wireless performance
- Oversee technical deliverables from design partners, managing schedules and ensuring engineering quality throughout the product lifecycle
- Characterize, test, and validate RF performance using lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, radio testers, and RF chambers
- Conduct real-world RF field testing to validate wireless performance, capture KPIs, and troubleshoot connectivity performance issues
- Translate product-level wireless performance requirements into actionable RF specifications and test plans
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building internal RF engineering best practices
What you’ll bring
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- 9–12+ years designing, integrating, and optimizing wireless RF solutions for battery-powered and vehicular embedded products deployed in real-world environments (e.g., drones, automotive-mounted systems, mobile devices, action cameras)
- 5+ years designing and integrating chip-down cellular RF circuits (e.g., LTE, 5G, Cat-4 and above)
- Demonstrated expertise in multi-transceiver wireless system architecture, RF circuit design, and system integration across 4G, 5G, multi-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS technologies as a minimum.
- Proven experience as a Lead embedded RF Engineer, personally driving RF architecture, schematic design, integration, debug, and validation from concept through mass production
- Proficient in providing technical oversight of RF design partners, including design reviews and ownership of day-to-day technical interactions
- Proven ability to own and drive multiple complex wireless projects, balancing architectural trade-offs, execution risk, and delivery timelines
- Strong cross-functional, system-level understanding of the challenges and trade-offs involved in the real-world integration of multiple RF transceivers within complex, high-density mobile, wearable, and vehicular embedded systems
- Significant practical experience with RF debugging, interference analysis, coexistence challenges, and receiver de-sense mitigation
- Strong hands-on proficiency with RF measurement equipment, characterization and test methodologies, and evaluation criteria required to ensure robust and reliable wireless performance
- Strong schematic design experience, preferably using Cadence / OrCAD
- Demonstrated ability to guide PCB layout for wireless designs, perform detailed layout reviews, and issue actionable design recommendations
- Solid understanding of antenna theory, antenna structures, selection trade-offs, and performance requirements within constrained embedded platforms
- Familiarity with industry standards and regional regulatory certification processes relevant to RF design (e.g., 3GPP, PTCRB, GCF, FCC, ETSI)
- Experience operating within global, cross-functional engineering teams, including mentoring and technical guidance of junior engineers
- Strong documentation, communication, and technical presentation skills
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with Qualcomm RF chipsets, diagnostic and characterization tools (e.g., QXDM, QRCT, QCAT)
- Experience with antenna design and integration, including PCB, printed, or metal antenna implementations
- Experience using RF simulation and analysis tools to inform design trade-offs, performance prediction, and optimization
