Summary
Morgan & Morgan is looking for a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney in Montgomery to join its growing practice. The Litigation Attorney will handle motor vehicle and trucking liability accident cases in litigation representing plaintiffs. They lawyer's responsibilities will include trial prep and trial.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day handling of litigation cases
- Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum
- Guide clients through the case process
- Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits
- Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
Qualification
- Law degree from a fully accredited law school
- An active member in good standing with the Alabama State Bar Association
- Ability to manage high volume of litigation cases
- Excellent client service and communication skills

Requirements

Wilson Elser’s Birmingham office is currently seeking a Senior General Liability Attorney with experience in general liability, personal injury, transportation, and/or catastrophic injury. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys with 8+ years of litigation experience, to grow in their careers with exposure to a wide variety of prominent national clients and by taking on substantial litigation responsibilities. Responsibilities
- Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
- Work closely and collaborate with other attorneys and partners
- Regular trial preparation, investigation, court appearances, mediations and depositions
- Communicate with clients and provide reports
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in Alabama
- 8+ years of defense litigation
- Experience with defending Personal Injury, General Liability, Catastrophic Injury, Transportation, and other civil litigation matters preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Client-facing experience preferred
- Ability to integrate into a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Legal project management experience is helpful
- First chair trial experience a plus

Qualifications
- JD from an ABA accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in the state of Alabama
- 2+ years of defense litigation experience
- Experience with litigation involving general liability, premises, transportation, or insurance preferred.
- Experience drafting discovery and pretrial motions a must.
- Superior analytical skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Sophisticated technical skills necessary
- Experience handling court appearances, depositions, and trial experience a plus
