Anduril is looking for a Finance Manager to join our dynamic team and support the rapidly growing Rocket Motor Systems Business. This role will help drive pricing activities, portfolio product analysis, cost structure analysis, market situational awareness, facility expansion, and resource allocation decisions. The Business will rely on this Finance Manager to develop and sustain strong collaborate relationships with internal and external Anduril stakeholders. We are not looking for someone that will just be a service provider but someone that will have a seat at the table and drive strategic & operational growth within Rocket Motor Systems.

ABOUT THE JOB

In practice, this role will support important decisions with analytical insight and strategic and tactical recommendations to drive the long-term success of the business. You will communicate your findings to senior leadership and partner with others to operationalize the hypotheses and takeaways. You will be a driver on all major proposal efforts, customer negotiations, contract execution, strategic planning, and operational financial management practices. This role requires a strong interest in solving puzzles with an ability to recognize patterns and collaborate via cross-functional partnership (Data, Marketing, Product, Growth, and Engineering) to drive effective decision-making.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Corporate Long Range Financial Planning & Analysis
• Own the long-range budgeting, forecasting, and analysis process, workstreams, and reporting for the consolidated company plan
• Drive cash flow forecasting and management efforts, ensuring liquidity and financial stability
• Develop complex financial models to assess various financial scenarios and support strategic initiatives
• Conduct thorough balance sheet analyses and report on key financial indicators
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline FP&A activities and enhance reporting accuracy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans
• Lead the development of executive-level reporting and present financial insights to senior management
• Drive continuous improvement in financial reporting tools, systems, and procedures
• Lead the SG&A forecasting and planning review cycle and engage in detailed workstreams partnering with corporate functional leaders
• Collaborate with department leaders to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and drive accountability for spend
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and dashboards to communicate SG&A performance to senior leadership
• Analyze trends and risks, offering recommendations to optimize cost structures and improve financial efficiency
• Headcount Planning & Workforce Analytics
• Create comprehensive headcount and new hiring budgeting plans
• Lead the headcount forecasting and reporting process, ensuring alignment with financial and operational goals
• Partner with People function, Talent Acquisition and department leaders to analyze staffing needs, hiring plans, and workforce costs
• Talent acquisition pipeline and capacity management
• Support functional leaders to develop workforce plans as part of the annual planning process
• Develop and maintain models to project salaries, benefits, and personnel-related expenses, ensuring accuracy in financial planning
• Define productivity metrics by segment and role within each function
• Office and site utilization monitoring, tracking and planning
• Support workforce scenario planning, analyzing the financial impact of different hiring strategies and organizational changes
• Track actuals vs. forecast for headcount, compensation, and benefits, providing insights on variances and trends

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (CPA, CFA) is a plus
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting within a corporate FP&A, investment banking or consulting environment
• Strong expertise in cash flow management and working capital optimization
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools
• Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives in a finance function
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information in an understandable manner
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
• Experience with financial reporting tools and ERP systems (i.e. Anaplan, Netsuite, Oracle, Foundry)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril’s Tactical Reconnaissance & Strike (TRS) Finance group is seeking a Finance Manager to join our team and support the Small Drones business line. This role will own core FP&A responsibilities (close insights, forecasting, budgeting, and executive reporting) while partnering closely with Engineering, Product, Program Management, Growth, and Contracts to improve execution, investment decisions, and overall business performance.

We are not looking for someone that will just be a service provider but someone that will have a seat at the table and drive strategic & operational growth within Small Drones—helping build a scalable financial operating system for a rapidly evolving Small Drones analytics portfolio.

ABOUT THE JOB

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Business Line FP&A (Forecasting, Budgeting, Close Insights)
• Own the Small Drones financial operating rhythm: monthly close insights, forecasting, and variance drivers tied to engineering delivery and customer milestones
• Lead annual and quarterly planning cycles, including target setting, resource allocation, and performance tracking against business objectives
• Develop executive-ready reporting, dashboards, and narratives for AD&S leadership to drive decision-making
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to surface risks and opportunities early and drive corrective actions
• Unit Economics, Cost Structure, and Scaling Analysis
• Develop and maintain business-line models to quantify unit economics (Analytics + integration + support), margin drivers, and scaling assumptions
• Analyze cost drivers across labor, infrastructure, test, security/compliance, and field support to improve predictability and efficiency
• Support build/buy/partner decisions and quantify ROI for tooling, infrastructure, and capability investments
• Headcount Planning & Workforce Analytics

• Manage IRAD budget tracking, including burn, staffing mix, milestone outcomes, and post-gate spend visibility
• Support trade studies for where to invest IRAD vs. customer-funded development to accelerate product maturity and repeatability
• Program / Customer Execution Finance (Plus: Proposals and Pricing Support)
• Support program performance management by tracking actuals vs. forecast for key cost elements and deliverables; provide actionable insights to Program Management and Engineering leaders
• Develop metrics and a monitoring plan to ensure effective implementation of program financial plans while identifying ways to continually improve performance
• Support pricing strategy and proposal development for Small Drones pursuits as needed, including modeling scope assumptions and post-award baseline set-up
• Partner with Growth, Contracts, and Program teams to support deal constructs, assumptions, and change management to improve deliverability and financial outcomes
• Process Improvement and Tooling
• Establish and continuously improve reporting processes and tools to increase transparency, speed, and decision quality

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

The Advanced Effects Business Line is looking for a high initiative, collaborative individual to join the team: 

The Army Advanced Effects lead for the Air Dominance and Strike Division. This person will have ownership and responsibility for shaping and capturing ground and air launched advanced effects primarily with the US Army and International Partners.

What You’ll Do

• Generate and capture US Army Advanced Effects opportunities. The BD team is ultimately responsible for growing revenue. Specifically, this role will focus on building business for Anduril’s Advanced Effects business line. Success will be achieved by developing a deep understanding of the existing and prospective customer base, knowing the current or planned programmatic and technical roadmaps, and being cognizant of the competitive landscape. This expertise will inform capture strategies, revenue forecasts, and aid in technology development plans. Tactically, you will manage continuous engagements with current and future clients, generate growth strategies, and monitor buying cycles for opportunities, and lead specific proposal and capture efforts.
• Develop capture strategies. Provide cohesive business plans and execution models that outline acquisition plans, create clear alignment to investment strategies, and drive towards program of record execution. Success will be achieved by engaging key stakeholders to shape requirements, identifying and securing relevant funding, and developing compelling win themes and supplier strategies for competitive captures.
• Drive product development and program transition. Anduril thrives by developing new technologies for our clients’ pressing operational challenges. This demands delivering nascent concepts to clients shaping early design of experiment, study, and collaborative research and development that enable the road map toward ACAT 1 programs. Internally, you are charged with translating client problem sets back into our engineering organization, identifying key milestones, and proactively providing clear communications to appropriate levels of the company. Your assessment of clients’ needs will inform new product decisions, and your ongoing engagement with clients will yield crucial input that helps Anduril ensure our product suite is best-in-class.
• Grow existing business. While the primary role will be shaping and capturing new business, a successful candidate will represent the entire Advanced Effects business line. Required Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years experience in creating or supporting new missiles/weapons programs, including requirements definition and acquisition strategies.
• Prior experience working with US Army program offices / customers. Deep understanding of US Army customer community, requirements process, and operational needs.
• Prior acquisition or operational experience with missile systems across across surface fires, air launched effects, and the air defense domains, across a variety of roles and missions.
• Excellent writing, communication skills with experience presenting to senior executives and customers.
• Ability to travel 50% – 75% required.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.

• Prior experience working with FMS/DCS and direct international customers with a strong understanding of FMS/DCS processes, including navigating licensing and releasability.
