About the Position

This role reports to the Head of Solutions. The main responsibility is to lead, manage, and operate the Pre-sales activities for Energy Exemplar's in the ASEAN region.

The Solutions Lead is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that aim to drive business growth and innovation in the region. To achieve this, they work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to plan and implement processes supporting service delivery and product innovation.

• Develop and execute ASEAN GTM strategy and account plan for all existing and new accounts, execution including marketing support activities, pre-sales demos, professional service delivery. It is expected that the plan should support the ASEAN Sales team in the coordination and allocation of resources to achieve business objectives

• Lead a high-performance Solutions team in ASEAN, comprising Energy and Data Analysts.
• Build an environment that supports true innovation, thought leadership and best practice sharing.
• Provide leadership and coaching to the Solutions team based on knowledge of industry and vertical market trends, regional business economics and strategic issues.
• Engage with high-level customer and partner decision makers to understand customer business issues and bring the right resources to develop, propose and implement sound technical solutions.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders from across the business to support the end-to-end process from sales through to delivery, ensuring robust processes and procedures are in place for seamless delivery of Energy Exemplar’s services.
• Maintain strong relationships with key customers to facilitate the ongoing flow of information concerning current and new solution needs, product development initiatives and market conditions that impact solution and product development.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with Energy Modeling and Power Market Analysis
• 2+ years of team and people management experience
• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience working in Utility, TSO with PLEXOS or similar simulation software tool
• Demonstrated experience in building fundamental energy models including Electricity Markets, Gas Systems, Renewable Energy, and emerging technologies like Hydrogen and Ammonia
• Strong delivery record on projects in the areas of net-zero, decarbonization and solutions for new energy technologies in APAC context
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate in multiple languages is beneficial
• High level of emotional intelligence
• Ability to communicate complex subject matter in an easy-to-understand manner
