Production Leadership

• Oversee daily fabrication activities to support production goals and delivery deadlines.
• Lead and support welders, fitters, and other shop personnel.
• Assign work based on production priorities, available staffing, and equipment capacity.
• Monitor workflow and adjust schedules to maintain efficiency.
• Communicate production updates, priorities, and scheduling concerns with the team.

Shop Operations

• Provide guidance on welding, fit-up, layout, and blueprint interpretation.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement solutions to reduce downtime.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel to keep fabrication equipment operating efficiently.
• Help maintain production records and fabrication documentation.
• Support dimensional inspections and verify work meets project specifications in coordination with Quality Control.

Safety & Team Development

• Promote compliance with workplace safety procedures, quality requirements, and shop policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Assist with onboarding new employees, training, and ongoing skills development.
• Perform additional leadership responsibilities as needed to support shop operations.
