Your opportunity
New Relic is a fast-growing tech company with a "Best Places to Work" culture - and awards to match. In your role as an Senior Executive Assistant, you will partner with our SVP, Sales APJ, to increase alignment, productivity and engagement by streamlining communication, key deliverables and logistics. You will collaborate on a wide-range of activities; keenly anticipate issues and priorities while ensuring accountability through reporting, metrics and tracking deliverables. Your influence and scope as a Senior Executive Assistant will foster successful communication across APJ with a focus on the sales leadership and will be an important catalyst for maintaining an engaging company culture!
What you'll do
- Manage Time Strategically: Own the SVP's calendar, prioritizing their time to align with our biggest revenue and business goals.
- Drive Communications: Draft and refine messaging, presentations, and strategic briefs for both internal and external audiences.
- Run Projects: Spearhead cross-functional initiatives and make sure we hit our milestones.
- Collaboration and Best Practices: collaborate with other EAs globally to bring best practice approaches into the APJ region that helps drive executive efficacy
- Handle Budgets: Oversee the team's operational budget and optimize our spending for events and initiatives.
- Plan High-Impact Events: Organize leadership offsites and team events that keep everyone aligned and engaged.
- Synthesize Information: Pull together data into clear dashboards and reports to help leaders make quick, informed decisions.
- Coordinate Global Travel: Plan seamless multi-leg domestic and international trips, anticipating any logistical hiccups.
- Be a Trusted Advisor: Act as a confidential sounding board for sensitive business and personnel matters.
- Culture Champion: Operated with an outcome focused mindset that drives urgency and execution diligence that also helps strengthen our New Relic culture.
This role requires
- 7+ years of experience providing strategic, chief-of-staff-level support to SVPs or C-suite executives.
- Experience in a fast-paced tech environment with a knack for proactive problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to push back when needed and work globally.
- The ability to independently run complex, long-term projects.
- A growth mindset—always looking for ways to improve our processes and propose fresh ideas.
- A positive, adaptable attitude to handle shifting priorities and diverse personalities.
- Strong skills in Google Workspace, modern chat tools, and document management (Mac experience is a plus!) including leveraging AI tools to drive efficiency and
- Experience managing event budgets and vendors with minimal oversight.
