What You’ll Bring to The Team:
We are looking for a Senior SDET Engineer to own quality strategy for one or more feature teams, drive automation best practices, and act as a quality partner to engineering and product leads.
You Will:
- Own quality strategy for one or more feature teams and act as a quality partner to engineering and product leads.
- Drive automation best practices across the team.
- Build and maintain automated tests and frameworks using Java/Python, TestNG, Functionize and Rest Assured, wired into CI/CD.
- Leverage AI-assisted testing tools to expand coverage and reduce maintenance.
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to framework improvements.
An Ideal Candidate Has:
- 7 to 9 years of related work experience (indicative)
- Deep, hands-on expertise wit, Java and/or Python, Pytest, TestNG, Maven, and Rest Assured
- Experience with Functionize, Robot Framework or Playwright
- Experience testing RESTful APIs, microservices, and data-driven applications
- Strong experience with CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab), Git, Docker, and JIRA or similar defect tracking systems
- Experience with cloud environments (e.g., AWS)
- Strong foundation in SDLC and OOP, with advanced analytical and debugging skills
- Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL, and strong code review and design skills
- Experience with AI-assisted test generation, maintenance, and failure analysis, testing AI-powered features (non-deterministic output, guardrails), and AI-assisted development with tools like Claude Code or Cursor
- Strong ownership, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Nice to have: performance and load testing (JMeter), or regulated/compliance testing experience (SOC2, HIPAA)
