About the Role

We are looking for a hardworking and motivated QA professional to provide unwavering leadership and collaborate across the team to advocate for testing best practices such as Exploratory Testing, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Delivery (CD). You will guard the quality of our products, ensure short feedback loops throughout the delivery cycle, and drive automation and QA expertise across web and mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with developers and product owners to grasp the full scope of features, pairing with developers to advise and build

• automation scripts (unit, integration, end-to-end, UI) that ensure code coverage and quality.

• Build, execute, improve, and maintain automation test scripts using standard methodologies, closely monitoring test results for swift feedback and participating in peer code reviews.

• Advocate for and endorse good testing practices, including pair programming, code reviews, TDD, Exploratory Testing, Behaviour Driven Development (BDD), CI, and CD.

• Engage in all phases of the agile development cycle, clearly voicing concerns and working with the team to tackle technical debt.

• Identify, evaluate, report, and detail defects, questionable functions, and inconsistencies in product content and behavior during design and implementation.

• Review code commits and ensure the right level of test coverage is included.

• Conduct manual testing when required, and lead and facilitate Exploratory Testing sessions with the team.

• Perform automation audits and cleanup: validate accuracy and efficiency, remove duplicate or overlapping coverage with other test types (unit, contract, E2E), and ensure alignment with digital code standards.

• Build and maintain documentation in Confluence and other knowledge-sharing hubs.
  

Required Experience:

• Demonstrable leadership skills and expertise with testing methods, strategies, and tools, with the ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment.

• A passion for continuous improvement of existing processes and tools, along with strong documentation of standards and best practices.

• Strong hands-on experience developing test scripts for functional, performance, and regression testing, including automated and manual testing on desktop and mobile.

• Ability to identify, analyze, report, and document defects, questionable functions, and inconsistencies in product content and behavior.

• Solid experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Build, and Continuous Delivery practices, Test Automation, and related tool-sets (Jest, Cypress, GitHub Actions, and Docker).

• Experience with REST API testing (Postman) and scripting in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Experience establishing and maintaining comprehensive, well-structured test cases, end-to-end regression suites, and test plans (JIRA and Confluence).

• Experience with performance monitoring and observability tools to support SRE practices (Dynatrace).

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical team members in an Agile environment.

• Experience securing applications against common security threats (OWASP Standards).

• Familiarity with accessibility testing (WCAG 2) best practices.

• Experience with Web/HTTP security controls (CORS, CSP, TLS, etc.).

• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized test environments.

• Experience with GCP and/or AWS ecosystems.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools and automation strategies.
