À propos de ce poste People Operations Specialist chez Go1 Vietnam
At Go1, we’re on a mission to help organizations deliver learning and development in more relevant, timely, and effective ways. From a small startup to now a global brand - we’ve grown by solving hard problems, embracing ambiguity, and never standing still.
If you thrive on change, get energy from big, complex challenges, and are excited to grow fast alongside smart, ambitious people, then Go1 might be exactly what you’re looking for. We offer autonomy with accountability, space to experiment, and the opportunity to shape solutions that impact millions of learners worldwide. We don’t have all the answers — and that’s the point. We figure it out together. Every line of code, every conversation, every bold idea helps move us closer to our mission: to enable individuals, organizations, and society to progress. There’s still so much to build — and even more to discover. Go there with us...
We’re entering one of the most exciting chapters in Go1’s history. As we continue to bring new products to market, build AI-powered capabilities, and help organisations rethink workforce enablement. This is a business-critical role. Vietnam’s employment environment is detailed, highly localised and often still dependent on physical documentation. This role would be perfect for someone who understands that complexity, can identify and escalate risk, and is equally comfortable working with HR systems, employee data and a globally distributed People & Culture team. The right person will be able to balance strong local ownership with a flexible, collaborative approach to broader People Operations support.
Why you’ll love this role
Become a trusted local point of contact people rely on. Your knowledge of Vietnamese labour requirements, contracts, tax reporting, unions and insurance will directly influence how confidently and compliantly we operate.
Own more than administration. You’ll manage important operational processes, but we’re not looking for someone who simply moves paperwork. You’ll use HR systems, data and tools, including automation and AI-enabled ways of working, to improve accuracy, reduce manual work and create better employee experiences.
Build broad People Operations experience. You’ll work across the full employee lifecycle and, over time, have opportunities to build your knowledge of our global processes and support work across other regions.
Help shape smarter ways of working. You’ll have the opertunity to use data, systems, automation and IA tools to improve how People Operations run; reducing manual effprt whilst strengthening accuracy, compliance and employee experience.
See the impact of your work quickly. You’ll support a focused local employee group, giving you the opportunity to build strong relationships, understand the business and make meaningful improvements.
About the role
This is a hands-on specialist role with genuine ownership. Supporting 30+ employees across Engineering and Finance, you’ll help ensure every stage of the employee lifecycle runs smoothly, accurately and in line with Vietnam’s employment requirements. You’ll keep Go1’s Vietnam People Operations rhythm running effectively, balancing the precision required for compliance with the pace and change that comes with working in a global organisation. Your role will include:
- Managing employee documentation, labour contracts, contract changes and other local employment requirements.
- Provide People Operations, compliance, data and systems input into cross-functional projects, ensuring local requirements and operational risks are considered early
- Maintaining the Vietnam compliance calendar and coordinating annual and quarterly reporting obligations.
- Supporting processes relating to tax, social insurance, health insurance, group insurance and employee dependants.
- Working with local unions, government agencies, benefits providers and other external partners.
- Supporting payroll preparation through accurate employee changes, checks and benefits information.
- Support employee experience and community moments where required, including coordination of office activities, employee communications and local engagement initiatives
- Responding to employee requests across onboarding, offboarding, benefits, employment relations and general People Operations queries.
- Maintaining accurate employee information in HiBob, processing workforce changes and producing reports and analysis.
- Coordinating requirements that involve wet signatures, physical employee files and in-person documentation.
- Clearly escalating compliance risks, blockers or changes to global stakeholders.
What success could look like
In your first 30 days, you’ll be building an understanding of Go1’s employee lifecycle in Vietnam, the local compliance calendar, key vendors and union relationships. You’ll begin learning HiBob and processing straightforward employee changes such as title and salary updates.
By around 60 days, you’ll be confidently running the routine Vietnam People Operations rhythm. This includes preparing contracts and documentation, coordinating signatures, supporting payroll checks, managing benefits changes and handling standard employee lifecycle processes. From there, you’ll continue building your systems capability, strengthening local processes and developing the knowledge needed to support broader global People Operations work.
What we’re looking for
- You’ll bring strong, practical knowledge of People Operations and employment compliance in Vietnam. You understand how local requirements work in practice and can confidently advise when something is unclear, incorrect or presents a risk. You’ll also bring:
- Experience in a People Operations, HR Generalist, HR Operations or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Vietnamese labour contracts, employee documentation and local compliance requirements.
- Experience working with tax reporting, social insurance, health or group insurance, unions and local employment processes.
- Fluency in Vietnamese and professional English communication skills.
- The ability to clearly explain and escalate legal or compliance matters to English-speaking stakeholders.
- Confidence working with HR systems, employee data, reporting and analysis.
- Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the broader employee or business outcome.
- The ability to adapt when priorities, processes or business needs change.
- A proactive approach and the confidence to take responsibility for your work without waiting for every next step to be defined.
- Experience within a technology or SaaS company may be helpful, but it isn’t essential. We’re more interested in your ability to learn systems, manage complexity and balance compliance requirements with a fast-moving working environment.
Location:
This role is a hybrid role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. You’ll need to be able to attend the local office when wet signatures, employee documentation and physical file management require an in-person presence, outside of that you’ll work remotely. If you enjoy combining detailed local expertise with systems, data and continuous improvement, this is an opportunity to play an important role in how Go1 supports its people in Vietnam.
