Schedule: Monday - Friday 4:30 pm - 1:00 am
Pay Rate: $23.16 per hour plus a $0.50, night differential.
** This is a union position, covered under Teamsters Local 294 Union**
Job Essentials:
- Correctly palletize cottage cheese or yogurt.
- Make sure the correct number of cases are packed by the required pallet configuration.
- Ensure the cases are coded clearly and correctly and that the boxes and spot-pack pads are clean and stacked in an orderly fashion.
- Label pallets with stickers stating the date, time, and amount of product.
- Generate license plates using the WMS.LOGPRO system.
- Input competed production into the BPCS system in between product changeovers.
- Sweep the pallet room at a minimum of each day or as needed.
- Assist in the palletizing on other production lines as needed.
- Support SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.
- Maintain all documented information as per SQF requirements.
- Work overtime, as needed, which will require an obligation from you to fulfill.
- Carry out all additional duties assigned by a supervisor or foreman.
- Understand and follow all safety procedures, always wear proper PPE, and never put yourself or other employees in harm’s way.
