Optimal, on behalf of a boutique hotel in Amorgos, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join its team for the 2026 season.

Scope of the Role
The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee the daily housekeeping operations of the boutique hotel, ensuring that guest rooms and common areas are consistently clean, well-maintained, and prepared to the hotel's standards. The role is ideal for an experienced Housekeeper or Senior Housekeeper looking to take on a supervisory position within a small and friendly team.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the housekeeping team.
• Ensure the cleanliness and proper preparation of guest rooms and public areas.
• Check rooms and common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Organize daily tasks and allocate duties among the housekeeping team.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen, and amenities and inform management of any needs.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or other concerns promptly.
• Support the team with hands-on housekeeping duties when required.
• Collaborate with the Front Office and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure that hygiene, safety, and hotel standards are consistently followed.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Senior Housekeeper, Housekeeping Supervisor, or in a similar role will be considered an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Good command of English, with the ability to communicate effectively with an international housekeeping team.
• Ability to organize and coordinate a small team effectively.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to support the team in daily operations.
• Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
