Responsibilities:
Research and write compelling news articles on contemporary culture.
Curate, write and schedule engaging social media posts across Hypebeast’s regional platforms.
Identify emerging tastemakers in the industry.
Attend events on behalf of Hypebeast to capture and edit content that fits the visual style.
Keep on top of social media trends and audience engagement to optimize content.
Collaborate with the editorial, video and social teams to align content with ongoing stories and features.
Support the team in brainstorming and pitching new content ideas.
Participate in editorial meetings and contribute to the overall content strategy.
Support operations and project management by maintaining project trackers and assisting with team communications.
Requirements:
Strong interest in contemporary culture.
Excellent writing skills with a keen eye for detail.
Basic social-first image and video editing experience.
Familiarity with social media platforms and content strategies.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong research skills and the ability to identify credible sources.
Prior experience in writing or social media management is a plus but not required.
