Position Overview
The Contract Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Consultant provides strategic recruiting support across Servant's internal hiring needs and Servant Talent client engagements. This role partners with hiring leaders, clients, and delivery teams to identify, attract, and hire exceptional talent across technology, product, design, and business functions.
This is a hands-on recruiting role responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing candidate pipelines, supporting hiring processes, and delivering a high-touch candidate and client experience. The ideal candidate brings experience recruiting in consulting, technology, and professional services environments and understands how to balance speed, quality, and alignment with organizational needs.
This is a remote, fractional opportunity offering up to 20 hours per week, with flexibility based on internal hiring priorities and Servant Talent client demand.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruiting
- Manage end-to-end recruiting processes from intake through onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers and clients to understand business needs, team structure, and role requirements.
- Develop recruiting strategies and sourcing plans aligned to hiring goals.
- Create and optimize job descriptions that attract qualified candidates.
- Source, screen, interview, and present high-quality candidates.
- Coordinate candidate communication, interview processes, feedback loops, and offer execution.
- Support offer negotiations, compensation alignment, and closing strategies.
- Ensure a strong candidate experience throughout the recruiting lifecycle.
Technical & Professional Recruiting
- Recruit across technical and professional disciplines including:
- Artificial Intelligence / AI Transformation
- Data Engineering & Analytics
- Software Engineering
- Product Management
- Product Design & UX Research
- Digital Transformation Consulting
- Technical Leadership
- Support contractor, consultant, and full-time hiring needs.
- Partner with technical leaders to understand specialized skill requirements and evaluate talent markets.
- Leverage recruiting expertise to identify passive candidates and hard-to-find talent.
Servant Talent Client Recruiting & Consulting
- Serve as a recruiting partner to Servant Talent clients, providing consultative guidance throughout the hiring process.
- Conduct intake conversations to define role expectations, candidate profiles, compensation considerations, and market availability.
- Provide talent market insights and recruiting recommendations.
- Manage client communication, candidate updates, and recruiting milestones.
- Build trust through responsive communication, transparency, and strong execution.
Sourcing & Talent Networks
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines through:
- LinkedIn Recruiter and sourcing tools
- Professional networks
- Technology communities
- Faith-based professional networks
- Existing talent communities
- Referral networks
- Develop creative sourcing strategies for niche and specialized roles.
- Maintain strong candidate relationships for future hiring needs.
Contractor, Agency & Vendor Management
- Support contractor recruiting and consultant placement efforts.
- Manage relationships with recruiting agencies and external talent partners as needed.
- Evaluate external recruiting support and ensure alignment with quality, cost, and hiring goals.
- Support rate governance, compensation benchmarking, and market alignment for contract talent.
- Maintain awareness of talent market trends, availability, and competitive compensation.
Recruiting Operations & Systems
- Maintain accurate candidate data and recruiting activity within Workable ATS.
- Ensure recruiting processes, documentation, and workflows are followed consistently.
- Track recruiting metrics, pipeline activity, and hiring progress.
- Support continuous improvement of recruiting processes and tools.
- Utilize AI tools and emerging recruiting technology to improve sourcing, communication, and efficiency.
Requirements
Required
- 5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably within technology, consulting, staffing, or professional services.
- Experience managing full-cycle recruiting processes.
- Strong sourcing skills with the ability to identify passive candidates.
- Experience recruiting technical and specialized talent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong consultative approach with the ability to partner with executives, hiring managers, and clients.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred
- Experience recruiting within consulting or digital transformation organizations.
- Experience hiring AI, data, engineering, product, design, and research talent.
- Executive search experience.
- Experience with contractor and consultant recruiting.
- Experience supporting nearshore hiring, including LATAM talent markets.
- Experience with Workable or similar ATS platforms.
- Experience with compensation benchmarking and offer negotiation.
- Experience managing recruiting agencies or talent vendors.
- Established technology or faith-based professional networks.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude to improve recruiting workflows.
