Job Overview

We are looking for a Cinematic Artist to join our team and support the production of real-time cinematics, trailers, and in-game cutscenes.

This is a hands-on generalist role covering different stages of cinematic production. We are not looking for a specialist or an expert in every discipline. Instead, we are looking for someone with a broad interest in real-time cinematic production, solid artistic fundamentals, and a willingness to learn and grow across multiple areas.

What will you do?

You will work closely with the cinematic team and contribute to the production of real-time cinematics and in-game cutscenes from early layout to final polish.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Creating cinematic layouts and establishing shots in-engine
• Storyboarding and visualizing cinematic sequences
• Camera layout, composition, and camera animation
• Basic character and object animation
• Working with existing animation assets and adapting them to cinematic needs
• Level art and environment dressing for cinematic shots
• Setting up and adjusting lighting for cinematic sequences
• Creating and integrating simple real-time VFX
• Supporting shot assembly and cinematic sequencing
• Iterating on shots based on artistic and creative feedback
• Troubleshooting visual and technical issues within cinematic scenes
• Helping bring cinematic sequences from rough blockout to final in-engine presentation

The exact scope of work may vary depending on the project and the needs of a particular cinematic sequence.

What are we looking for?

• Basic understanding of 3D production and real-time workflows
• Interest in cinematography, visual storytelling, and animation
• Understanding of camera composition, framing, and shot construction
• Basic animation skills and an understanding of timing and movement
• Ability to work with 3D environments and assemble scenes
• Familiarity with real-time engines and cinematic tools
• Willingness to work across multiple disciplines rather than focusing on a single specialization
• Ability to take feedback and iterate on your work
• Curiosity, initiative, and a strong desire to learn

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Experience with Unreal Engine and Sequencer
• Basic knowledge of character animation
• Experience with level art or environment dressing
• Basic understanding of real-time VFX
• Experience creating personal cinematics, short films, game scenes, or similar projects
• Interest in filmmaking, animation, games, and visual storytelling
