Baca Saw Operator – Construction Resources Surfaces (Decatur, GA)
Overview
Construction Resources Surfaces is seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented individual to join our production team as a Baca Saw Operator. This role involves working with automated cutting equipment to support the fabrication of stone and surface materials used in residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor a robotic cutting system equipped with a rotating saw
- Follow production schedules and job specifications to ensure accurate material processing
- Assist with preparing materials before cutting and organizing finished pieces afterward
- Perform basic equipment checks and communicate any issues to the supervisor
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Support general shop operations as needed
Qualifications
- Preferably 2–3 years of experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or machine operation
- Ability to learn and operate automated or computer‑assisted machinery
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, industrial environment
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow established procedures
- Reliable attendance and a team‑oriented mindset
Work Environment
This position is based in our Decatur, Georgia facility and involves hands‑on work with stone materials and production equipment.
