Te Tūranga – About the role
An exciting opportunity has become available in our Merchandise Operations team due to the internal progression of one of our team members. This is your chance to join a high-performing team and build your knowledge across merchandise, data, supply chain and store operations in a role that offers strong development opportunities.
As an Article Master Data (AMD) Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of article master data across our business. Working closely with Category, Supply Chain, IT, stores and suppliers, you'll help maintain seamless operations by managing article information, resolving complex data issues and driving continuous improvement.
You'll also:
- Create, maintain and update article, vendor, pricing and purchasing information across multiple systems.
- Support stores and suppliers with data corrections and updates, ensuring a timely and accurate resolution.
- Investigate data-related issues, conduct root cause analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate with Category Managers, Category Assistants, IT Support, Finance, Replenishment teams and Retail stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Maintain data alignment across key systems including SAP, online platforms, warehouse management systems and point of sale channels.

You'll be a detail-oriented problem solver who enjoys working with data, systems and people. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple priorities and are motivated by finding smarter ways of working.
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Strong attention to detail and an understanding of retail or merchandise operations.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP and/or JDE.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on data integrity, accuracy and quality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, sound judgement and the ability to use initiative.
- Experience managing large datasets and working within structured processes while building effective stakeholder relationships.
