Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support
- Process tax returns using e-filing process
- Scan and organize documents in SharePoint and GoFileRoom
- Cultivate relationships and maintain contact with company clients
- Function as a backup for other Administrative Assistants within the group and support other team activities as directed
- Handle incoming calls proficiently and follow through regarding issues raised with appropriate parties
- Develop a good working relationship with all levels of staff
- Handle sensitive/confidential information requiring a high level of discretion
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant experience supporting executives in a professional services environment
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written including excellent grammar and proofreading abilities
- Excellent technology skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and interest in learning additional software packages as needed
- Tax program knowledge is a plus
- Ability to develop own processes and follow through with them
- Ability to exercise good judgment and decision making
- Ability to anticipate problems and act accordingly
- Time management skills - ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to take initiative, be assertive and maintain confidence
- Professional demeanor
- Organizational skills and detail oriented nature
- Handle additional administrative responsibilities as needed
