Responsibilities

Analyzing and reviewing business and system specifications

Actively participating in defining testing objectives

Preparing test plans based on the objectives defined by the team

Designing, documenting, and executing test cases

Recording and evaluating test results

Preparing test reports and documentation

Managing and tracking defects

Monitoring software changes and retesting bug fixes

Actively participating in functional and regression testing processes

Developing and optimizing test automation solutions

Creating and executing regression test suites

Working closely with team members, including developers, business stakeholders, and product owners, as well as end users and related departments

Performing administrative and documentation tasks related to own work

The ideal candidate

Has a relevant university degree

Has experience in testing banking systems

Has experience using issue and test management tools (e.g. HP Quality Center, SpiraTeam, Xray, Zephyr)

Has knowledge of database management and SQL

Has experience with both hard-coding and low/no-code testing tools (e.g. TestNG, Selenium, Katalon, Tosca)

Has solid programming and/or algorithmic skills

Has a quality-oriented and solution-focused mindset

Has excellent communication skills

Is able to work reliably and accurately, both independently and as part of a team

Is proactive and has strong problem-solving skills

Is able to adapt to changing priorities in an Agile environment

Has conversational English language skills

Advantages

ISTQB CTFL or higher certification

Knowledge of test management tools

Knowledge of Agile development methodologies

Professional experience in banking processes

Development background

Commitment to continuous professional development (e.g. learning new technologies and obtaining professional certifications)

Required experience

At least 1–3 years of experience in test automation

Required language skills

English (intermediate or higher level)
