Your Role
Megaport is experiencing exceptional growth in Iberia (Spain and Portugal), we are looking for driven individuals who want to influence that growth, and who are excited at the opportunity to further develop and expand Megaport in the Iberia market.
As a Territory Manager for Iberia (Spain and Portugal), you are a true builder and hunter. You will drive our regional growth, establishing yourself as an expert in NaaS and Cloud Networking. Reporting to the Regional Director Southern Europe, this is a high-impact, direct-contributor role. If you thrive on the thrill of the hunt prospecting, breaking into new accounts, and building a robust pipeline from the ground up, while expanding indirect partner relationships, this role is for you.
What You'll Be Doing
Direct:
Hunt & Win: Prospect, develop, and secure new enterprise business within your territory.
Build Strategies: Analyze market drivers and stakeholder needs to build highly effective, targeted account and go-to-market strategies from scratch.
Pipeline & Forecasting: Rigorously manage your sales pipeline, maintain CRM hygiene, and deliver highly accurate, predictable business forecasting to leadership.
Collaborate for Success: Partner cross-functionally with Sales Management, Marketing, and Solutions Architects to execute campaigns and craft optimal technical solutions that win new business.
Indirect:
Build the Ecosystem: Actively recruit, onboard, and develop scalable channel partners to drive new business in both existing and untapped markets.
Strategic Alignment: Drive joint account planning and strategy sessions with partners to identify new opportunities, align objectives, and maximize market penetration.
Technical Trusted Advisor: Build deep relationships and engage in complex technical solution designs for partners, prospects, and customers.
What We Are Looking For
The Hunter Mentality: A relentless, self-motivated closer with a proven track record of outbound prospecting and consultative selling in a fast-paced environment.
Sales Methodology & Forecasting: Demonstrated experience applying formal, structured sales methodologies to qualify, navigate, and close complex deals, combined with a high degree of accuracy in sales forecasting.
Experience: Extensive experience with direct and indirect sales for "as a service" or network solutions.
Technical Acumen: Strong, actionable knowledge of IT ecosystems, data networking, cloud computing, and virtual private networking.
Network & Skills: An established partner network in Iberia, with a demonstrated ability to hunt for and build executive-level relationships.
Mindset: Highly entrepreneurial, adaptable, and energized by building a market presence from the ground up.
Requirements: Native Spanish speaker with business-level English. Willingness to travel up to 40%.
