Job Description
The Technical Support Analyst 2 serves as the primary point of contact for end-user technical support, ensuring hardware, software, and network systems remain operational with minimal disruption to business operations. This role is responsible for installing and configuring IT equipment, preparing and deploying workstations, supporting business applications, and resolving technical issues through responsive customer service and effective troubleshooting. The successful candidate will work closely with users and IT staff to maintain a secure, reliable, and productive technology environment.
Responsibilities
Technical Support
- Install, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Configure operating systems, software applications, and user accounts for new and existing staff.
- Image and prepare devices in accordance with organizational standards and security requirements.
- Install and assist with networking equipment, including routers, switches, wireless access points, and cabling.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network connectivity, and peripheral device issues.
- Provide first- and second-level technical support while escalating complex issues when appropriate.
- Support business productivity applications, email systems, and standard enterprise software.
Customer Support
- Respond promptly to help desk tickets, telephone requests, and in-person support requests.
- Deliver professional, customer-focused technical assistance while clearly communicating technical concepts to end users.
- Maintain a positive and supportive approach when assisting employees with technology issues.
Operational Support
- Follow organizational security standards and best practices when deploying and supporting IT systems.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information and technology resources.
- Prioritize and manage multiple support requests while meeting service expectations.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative IT support team.
- Lift and move computers, monitors, networking equipment, and other IT hardware as needed.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of desktop support, device deployment, and end-user technical support.
- Experience supporting enterprise hardware, software, and networking environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Experience working within structured IT support and service management environments.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4 years of experience with networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and VPN technologies.
- 4 years of experience with device imaging, deployment tools, and system security best practices.
- 4 years of experience using help desk ticketing systems and IT service management workflows.
- 4 years of experience troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware, software, and technical issues.
- 4 years of experience communicating technical information clearly to end users.
- 4 years of experience demonstrating strong organizational and time-management skills.
- 4 years of experience providing professional customer service and end-user support.
- 4 years of experience working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- 4 years of experience lifting and moving IT equipment, including computers, monitors, and networking hardware.
- 4 years of experience maintaining confidentiality and following security protocols when handling sensitive information.

Benefits
Compensation
This is a 1099 Contract position.
Pay Rate: $20 – $26 per hour
Schedule
- Start Date: 08/03/2026
- End Date: 10/16/2026
- Assignment Duration: Approximately 2.5 months
- Funded for approximately 400 hours
- Onsite, Monday through Friday
- Five days per week onsite
- Assignment may be extended based on business needs; extension is not guaranteed.
