About the Role 

We are looking for System Software Engineer in Test to join our team.  

In this role, you will be responsible for design, development, automation and reporting of Integration and system tests spanning across firmware and device drivers. 

You will be working closely with developers and other QA engineers to understand use-cases, manage hardware and other resources and develop system tests across all the components.    

About the Team 

Integration and system test team is responsible for verification and validation of integrated components across Board management controller (BMC), Firmware and Linux device driver. The team is also responsible for management and maintenance of common tools and pipelines used across the system software organization.    

Responsibilities and Duties 

• Implement and deliver high quality tests for complex system features 

• Develop packaging solutions for seamless integration 

• Develop, enhance and maintain the CI/CD pipelines. 

• Collaborate with other teams to understand the use-cases and develop integration and acceptance test plans.  

• Active involvement in technical discussions and reviews for the team.  

Candidate Profile 

Essentials 

• 3+ years of industry experience low level system testing and integration solutions. 

• Experience with test development using C/C++ and Python programming languages. 

• Experience with CI/CD, Build tools and modern testing practices. 

• Strong communication skills and the ability to document 

Desired 

• Experience working with server class systems 

• Experience in Qemu or similar emulator environments 

• Experience working with RTOS or openBMC.
