PURPOSE OF ROLE

We're looking for a passionate, problem-solving software engineer to join our team and help build scalable, high-performance messaging and automation systems. You'll work across the stack, from designing robust backend services to integrating modern AI capabilities and third-party messaging platforms. • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
• Architect systems with performance, reliability, and scale in mind
• Build and optimize message-queue-driven workflows and asynchronous processing
• Develop interactive, node-based UIs for workflow and automation builders using React Flow
• Integrate with third-party platforms, including Meta APIs, the WhatsApp Business Platform, and payment gateways
• Work with AI/ML features such as RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and ranking systems
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teammates
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and contribute to technical decisions

Requirements

• Must-Have Skills
• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and Python
• Hands-on experience with message queues: BullMQ and ActiveMQ
• Solid understanding of system design and scalable system architecture
• Experience with MongoDB and Redis
• Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic engineering mindset
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine team-player attitude
• Nice-to-Have
• Experience integrating payment gateways (billing, transactions, webhooks, reconciliation)
• Front-end experience with React and React Flow for node-based / diagram UIs
• Experience working with Meta APIs and the WhatsApp Business API / Cloud API
• Practical experience with RAG pipelines and ranking / relevance systems
• Comfortable leveraging modern AI developer tools (e.g., Claude) to boost productivity and code quality
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD practices
