The Service Technician is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining valves, electric actuators, and pneumatic actuators for municipal customers. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, proficiency with Microsoft applications for equipment programming software, reporting, documentation, and strict adherence to company and industry safety protocols.
The technician must be willing to work out of town approximately 50% of the time depending on project needs and scheduling, and work onsite in Addison, TX. Typical working hours are from 7 am to 4 pm, or until the work is complete.

Valve & Actuator Responsibilities:
Technical & Administrative Responsibilities:
- Complete work orders, service reports, and documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and other digital tools.
- Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, valve drawings, and technical manuals.
- Maintain accurate logs of parts used, time spent, and job status updates.
- Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and supervisors to provide updates and technical explanations.
- Follow all company safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, confined space guidelines, and jobsite safety rules.
- Use proper PPE and ensure safe operation of tools, hoisting equipment, and test instruments.
- Participate in safety meetings, training, and job hazard analyses.
