What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional patient care in a retail pharmacy setting by accurately interpreting, verifying, and dispensing prescription medications.
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, interactions, and adherence to support positive health outcomes.
• Build trusted relationships with patients through personalized service and education.
• Manage day-to-day retail pharmacy operations, including inventory management, medication ordering, and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service.
• Compound and dispense medications safely and accurately in accordance with provider orders.
• Oversee specialty medication compounding while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals across Vail Health to optimize patient care.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws, regulations, and Vail Health policies.
