As part of its continued growth, the business is seeking a motivated and highly organised Recruitment Consultant to focus on candidate generation, pipeline management and recruitment delivery.
Role Overview
The Recruitment Consultant will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, screening and managing candidates across technical and executive-level positions within the aviation and engineering sectors.
This is a delivery-focused recruitment position and does not involve business development, client acquisition, sales activities or client account management.
The successful candidate will work closely with the internal management team to build strong candidate pipelines and support ongoing recruitment projects.
The role requires excellent communication skills, consistency, strong organisational ability and a proactive approach to candidate engagement and recruitment delivery.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing and Recruitment Delivery
Source and identify suitably qualified candidates through:
- Job boards
- Internal recruitment databases
- Professional networking
- Candidate referrals
- Social media platforms
Conduct candidate screening calls and detailed qualification interviews.
Assess candidate suitability based on:
- Technical background and experience
- Professional certifications and licences
- Availability and notice period
- Salary or day-rate expectations
- Right-to-work status
- Willingness to relocate
- Communication skills
- Overall suitability for the position
Maintain regular and professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Coordinate candidate interviews and recruitment stages with the internal team.
Prepare, format and organise candidate profiles and supporting documentation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date information within the company’s CRM and applicant tracking system.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with candidates across the aviation, aerospace and engineering sectors.
Candidate Pipeline Management
- Build and maintain high-quality candidate pipelines across multiple technical disciplines.
- Conduct ongoing market mapping to identify new candidates and talent pools.
- Develop active talent communities for current and future recruitment projects.
- Re-engage inactive candidates and regularly update candidate information.
- Generate candidate referrals and expand the company’s professional network.
- Maintain organised candidate trackers and recruitment activity reports.
- Ensure candidate records and pipeline activity are consistently updated.
Performance Expectations and KPIs
The successful candidate will be expected to achieve the following minimum performance targets:
- Complete at least 15 outbound candidate calls per day.
- Conduct at least three candidate interviews or qualification calls per day.
- Add at least 25 new candidate connections per week.
- Submit at least five qualified candidates per week.
- Achieve a minimum of one successful placement per calendar month.
- Consistently maintain accurate CRM and applicant tracking system records.
- Proactively manage and develop candidate pipelines.
Required Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in recruitment, talent sourcing, candidate resourcing or a target-driven sales environment.
- Strong telephone communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence conducting candidate screening and qualification calls.
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies and recruitment processes simultaneously.
- Excellent organisational, administrative and time-management skills.
- Comfortable working toward recruitment KPIs and performance targets.
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other online sourcing tools.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently within a remote environment.
- Strong attention to detail when managing candidate information and documentation.
Desirable Experience
- Previous recruitment experience within aviation, aerospace, automotive, engineering or another technical industry.
- Knowledge of aviation terminology and EASA Part-66 licences.
- Experience working within a fast-paced recruitment environment.
- Experience recruiting for both permanent and contract positions.
- Multilingual communication skills would be advantageous.
