We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Project Designer to lead the design and delivery of commercial interior projects from concept through execution. This role is ideal for professionals with a passion for design-led problem-solving, strong technical expertise, and the ability to transform client requirements into functional, innovative, and buildable spaces.

As a Project Designer, you will own project workstreams across concept development, design documentation, consultant coordination, and site execution. Working closely with senior leadership and multidisciplinary teams, you will create compelling design solutions while ensuring technical accuracy, seamless coordination, and successful project delivery. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse commercial, hospitality, institutional, and workplace projects where creativity, collaboration, and design excellence are highly valued.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative design concepts and transform client briefs into compelling design narratives and presentations.
• Lead projects through concept design, design development, construction documentation, and execution support.
• Prepare, review, and validate Good for Construction (GFC) drawings to ensure technical accuracy and buildability.
• Coordinate with MEP consultants, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project integration.
• Conduct site visits, monitor design implementation, resolve technical issues, and provide execution support.
• Select materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings while balancing aesthetics, functionality, budget, and project requirements.
• Mentor and guide junior designers by reviewing deliverables, providing feedback, and ensuring quality standards.
• Participate in client meetings, present design proposals, and confidently communicate design intent throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify potential design, coordination, or execution challenges early and recommend practical solutions.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule while maintaining design quality, technical compliance, and client satisfaction.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 5+ years of experience in Project Design, Commercial Interiors, Interior Architecture, or Design-Led Project Delivery.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative thinking across commercial, hospitality, institutional, or workplace interiors.
• Proven ability to independently manage projects from concept through execution.
• Excellent understanding of construction documentation, GFC drawings, technical detailing, and site coordination.
• Experience coordinating with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, space planning, and interior construction methodologies.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
• Strong presentation, communication, and client-facing skills with the ability to articulate design decisions confidently.
• Leadership qualities with experience mentoring junior designers and managing multiple project priorities.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality, design-driven spaces.
