As a Home Health Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you’ll have the opportunity to provide personalized, one-on-one care where children thrive—their own homes. Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Qualifications and Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license, or eligible to obtain licensure by the anticipated start date
- One year of experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
- Experience supervising assistants is preferred but not required
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's unique needs
- Provide speech therapy services addressing communication, articulation, language development, feeding, and swallowing skills
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to support continued growth
- Educate families and caregivers on strategies to promote carryover at home
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, high-quality care
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
