We’re looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team in, Kings Hill, West Malling.

The Logistics Coordinator role entails a diverse set of responsibilities, including the meticulous management of customs documentation for EU imports, thorough purchase order setup, and vigilant monitoring of vessel arrivals to ensure prompt communication with the relevant department.

You'll play a vital role in facilitating sales order processing, efficient purchase invoice referencing and processing, and maintaining direct customer contact. Moreover, the role encompasses managing rejections and returns, serving as a liaison for quality control, proactively solving problems, and demonstrating a keen sense of commercial awareness.

Responsibilities include:

• Purchase Order creation and management.
• Accurate tracking of vessel arrivals and supplier shipments.
• Coordination of transport requirements from the port to our warehouse, and between our main site and third-party stores.
• Sales Order and Purchase Invoice referencing and processing.
• Stock reconciliation and inventory control.
• Handling of returns and rejection processes.
• Liaise with internal departments for streamlined operations.
• Proactive problem solving with a can-do attitude.
• Maintaining and commercial awareness to support business decisions
• Processing EU import customs documentation

Requirements

Experience we look for:

Essential

• Supply chain or procurement administration experience.
• Computer literate, with intermediate Excel skills.
• Strong organisational, communicative and numerical skills.
• Possess a reliable and flexible attitude with an ability to anticipate potential problems.
• An analytical mind.

Desirable

• Previous experience in the Fresh Produce industry would be advantageous
