ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Junior Payments Analyst to join our Payments team in Athens, who will be responsible for supporting FX and Treasury Operations, including transactions, reporting, reconciliation and various ad-hoc responsibilities. Ideally, we are looking for someone with some prior experience in treasury, banking, or finance operations, who is eager to learn and grow within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Assist in monitoring daily cash and support execution of payments under supervision
- Help investigate and resolve transaction issues and inquiries
- Support preparation of accurate, timely reports and compliance documentation
- Help maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and Payment Service Providers
- Learn and support cash management processes, controls, and policies, flagging opportunities for improvement
- Get involved in automation initiatives, developing vibe coding skills to support process efficiency over time
Requirements
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE
- 1-2 years of similar experience
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or any other STEM field
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
- Coding experience considered a plus
- Fulfilled military obligations (where applicable)
