Albert Bartlett, a leading name in the potato industry with over 75 years of heritage, is seeking a reliable and experienced Intake Forklift Truck Driver to join our dedicated team. This role is essential to our intake operations, ensuring that incoming goods are received, handled, and stored efficiently and safely to maintain our high standards of quality and service.

As an Intake Forklift Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts during the intake process, assisting in unloading deliveries and organizing stock within our warehouse. Your role is vital in supporting the smooth flow of goods from receipt to storage, helping us maintain operational excellence across our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to unload incoming deliveries promptly and safely.
• Verify and inspect incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and quality standards.
• Store materials correctly and efficiently within the designated intake areas.
• Maintain accurate records of goods received and report any discrepancies.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on forklift equipment.
• Collaborate closely with warehouse and logistics teams to support intake and stock management processes.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety policies ensuring a safe working environment.
• Working hours- Monday to Friday 08:30 – 16:30, plus 1 in 3 Saturday’s.
• £13.70 p/hr #INDHP

Requirements

• Valid Forklift Truck License with proven experience in forklift operation.
• Previous experience in intake or warehouse receiving operations is preferred.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Commitment to following health and safety guidelines.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and within a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as required.
