Impact In This Role

Fictiv is seeking a talented Graphic Designer who can take ideas and direction to create visual representations in digital and print media assets for Fictiv marketing, inspiring a generation of hardware product creators. Collaborating with multiple members within the marketing team, the graphic designer should be able to take written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects with our target audience and in line with Fictiv’s brand guidelines. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of industry-standard design programs, including Figma, and be skilled in producing assets for a wide variety of marketing needs.

You will report to the Creative Director.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborate, brainstorm, and execute creative assets on a wide range of print and digital collateral in support of marketing activities across Fictiv’s website, social media pages, display ads, emails, sales presentations, content marketing, PR announcements, swag, printed booklets, and more.
• Translate direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity or campaign design.
• Follow processes for organizing and uploading design assets for all project materials.
• Work with our web developer to ensure web assets are implemented as intended.
• Manage tasks and deadlines within Asana and/or Jira, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Traits

• 3 -5 years of experience in Graphics designer 
• Primary Skillset - Adobe Suit: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Figma, Graphic Design, Typography & Layout Design
• Secondary Skillset- Adobe InDesign, Motion Graphics/Basic Animation Skills, UI/UX Design
• Capable of applying a cohesive creative vision across a variety of visual media.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to align stakeholders and producers on creative ideas and visual concepts.
• Desire to experiment with ideas and iterate quickly and collaborate with a fast-paced marketing team.
• Ability to attend a weekly check-in meeting conducted during US hours.
