This role sits within our global Finance department, reporting to the Senior General Accounting Manager. You'll be based at our Paris Saint-Lazare office and cover general accounting for Contentsquare France and a handful of subsidiaries across EMEA and APAC.
What you'll do
- Own journal entries, tax calculations, bank reconciliations, and other period-end accounting tasks
- Deliver timely, accurate account reporting to the group
- Apply and uphold internal control procedures in line with group standards
- Support the monthly close process, coordinating across time zones when needed
- Take part in process improvement initiatives as the team scales
You'll work closely with other departments (legal, HR, FP&A, local finance teams), which means you'll build a broad understanding of the business quickly.
What we're looking for
- A degree in accounting from a French school or university
- Some exposure to international financial reporting, whether through coursework or a first experience
- Solid Excel skills: xlookup, pivot tables, the basics of a clean model
- Fluent in French and English (you'll be emailing subsidiaries in London, Singapore, and beyond on a regular basis)
- Organized, rigorous, and comfortable switching context between topics without dropping the ball
- Able to work with a degree of autonomy without needing things spelled out at every step
- Netsuite or Workday experience is a bonus, as is time spent in a shared services center
This role is an apprenticeship with a clear path toward a permanent position for the right person. We're not looking for someone who just executes tasks; we want someone who spots what's missing and figures out how to fix it.
