Front Office Associate

- Schedule: Flexibility required for early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
Position Summary
This is an entry-level position within the front office at the Florida Panthers Ice Den. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and outgoing personality while also being highly detail-oriented and possessing strong customer service skills. They should be responsible, professional, and able to handle complex situations and a variety of personalities.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate customer registration using the point-of-sale system to register and take payments for figure skating programs, hockey leagues, private lessons, public skating, birthday parties, and more
- Process cash and credit card payments and cash out the register at the end of each shift
- Answer incoming phone calls; respond to customer questions, transfer calls to appropriate departments as needed, and take and distribute accurate messages
- Operate office electronics including photocopiers, scanners, point-of-sale system, voicemail, and personal computers
- Assist management with booking birthday parties and camp field trips
- Interact with customers to provide information about upcoming programs, camps, and events
Qualifications
- Must be at least 17 years of age
- Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position. Must be able to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
