Sobre este puesto de Senior Engagement Manager en Applydigital
THE ROLE:
We're looking for a Senior Engagement Manager to join our growing Marketing Services team. This role is for a seasoned delivery leader who brings deep experience managing complex, technically driven MarTech engagements—particularly large-scale platform migrations with multiple workstreams, data dependencies, and cross-functional stakeholders.
You'll partner closely with Solutions Architects, engineers, strategists, and client teams to drive successful outcomes on technically complex programs. You'll own account health across delivery, financial performance, and client alignment, and you'll help build scalable processes that elevate the broader team.
The ideal candidate has a strong command of marketing automation platforms and MarTech implementations, with a demonstrated ability to lead enterprise clients through high-complexity migrations and technical transformation initiatives. This person doesn't just manage timelines, they also understand the work deeply enough to anticipate risks, align technical and non-technical stakeholders, and drive resolution when things get hard.
Preferred Location & Time Zone: Eastern Time Zone preferred for optimal collaboration with leadership and client teams. Open to candidates in Central or Atlantic Time Zones with sufficient overlap for client and internal meetings.
Responsibilities:
-
Serve as the primary point of contact for enterprise-level clients, ensuring all deliverables are aligned to business goals, KPIs, and executed on time and at high quality.
-
Translate client goals into actionable marketing objectives, delivery roadmaps, and measurable deliverables.
-
Lead cross-functional teams (strategists, designers, developers, QA, and partners) to deliver integrated MarTech programs that drive measurable impact.
-
Oversee execution across multiple concurrent workstreams, maintaining clarity on scope, timelines, priorities, and dependencies — including email builds, QA, approvals, and deployment coordination.
-
Lead end-to-end management of large-scale MarTech migrations (e.g., SFMC to Braze, Iterable, or similar), including discovery, data mapping, template migration, journey rebuilds, QA, and go-live coordination.
-
Manage technically complex engagements, including platform implementations, CDP integrations, data audits, mobile SDK setups, and data architecture initiatives — partnering closely with Solutions Architects and engineers to scope work, clarify requirements, and align delivery plans.
-
Translate technical requirements and implementation details into client-friendly timelines, artifacts, and status communications; anticipate migration-specific risks (data integrity, audience sync failures, journey logic gaps) and develop mitigation plans proactively.
-
Partner with clients on CRM and lifecycle strategy, providing guidance on segmentation, testing, personalization, and optimization.
-
Partner in resourcing, forecasting, and capacity planning discussions with leadership; maintain visibility into team capacity, flag potential over-servicing, and ensure change requests and scope adjustments are documented and communicated clearly.
-
Identify growth opportunities within accounts and actively support renewals and expansions in collaboration with leadership.
-
Contribute to internal process improvements and mentor Engagement Managers and Engagement Coordinators to build team capability and scalability.
Minimum requirements to be considered:
-
7+ years of experience in customer success, project management, or account management within an agency, consulting, or MarTech environment.
-
Proven track record managing large-scale, technically complex MarTech migrations across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.
-
Deep working knowledge of platforms such as Braze, Iterable, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud—and an understanding of how data flows across a MarTech stack.
-
Familiarity with CDPs and data integration tools (e.g., Segment, Hightouch, mParticle) and their role in platform migrations.
-
Solid understanding of audience segmentation, personalization logic, A/B testing, and campaign analytics.
-
Demonstrated ability to engage in technical conversations with engineers and Solutions Architects, and to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
-
Excellent communication and client relationship skills, with confidence managing executive-level discussions.
-
Highly organized, adaptable, and proactive, with a strong attention to detail and a bias toward action.
-
Experience mentoring or coaching junior team members or project coordinators preferred.
Nice to Have:
Experience with mobile SDK deployments (e.g., Braze) and related mobile measurement and lifecycle considerations.
Experience supporting CDP implementations and reverse ETL patterns (e.g., Segment destinations, Hightouch syncs).
Experience with common project management tools such as Asana, Monday, Jira, or Trello.
