In this role, you will help shape the commercial and contractual foundation of major procurement packages, supporting the business through contract development, negotiation, compliance, and award documentation. The position plays an important part in protecting commercial interests, managing contractual risk, and enabling smooth collaboration across legal, procurement, commercial, and technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop, negotiate and administer procurement contracts and MPAs with responsibility for commercial terms, risk allocation, contract compliance and award documentation.
- Draft, review and develop contract documents, MPA schedules, commercial terms and tender conditions.
- Support negotiation of contractual terms, price mechanisms, call-off provisions, warranties and liabilities.
- Identify contractual risks and recommend risk allocation and mitigation measures.
- Coordinate with legal, procurement, commercial and technical teams to finalize contract documents.
- Support award recommendations, approval papers and contract execution processes.
- Administer amendments, clarifications, contractual notices and post-award commercial matters.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years experience in contract management, procurement contracts or commercial management.
- Strong experience with FIDIC-based construction contracts, framework agreements, supplier agreements or master purchasing agreements (MPAs), including call-off arrangements and price mechanisms.
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Business, Law, or a related discipline.
- Experience in construction, real estate, infrastructure, developer-led procurement or comparable capital project environments.
- Experience maintaining complete procurement records.
- Experience coordinating with legal, procurement, commercial, and technical teams to finalize contract documents.
- MRICS, CIPS, or a law qualification.
