Sobre este puesto de Commercial Technology Platform Lead (12 Month FTC - Maternity Cover) en Trustpilot

Trustpilot · Híbrido · London

At Trustpilot, we're on an incredible journey. We're a profitable, high-growth FTSE-250 company with a big vision: to become the universal symbol of trust. We run the world's largest open customer review platform, and while we've come a long way, there's still so much exciting work to do. Come join us at the heart of trust!

We are looking for a Commercial Technology Platform Lead to cover a period of maternity leave within Trustpilot's Go To Market Technology department, in the Technology organisation. This is a fixed-term contract expected to start in September or October. It's a delivery-led role, so you'll spend the majority of your time running the day-to-day of our Commercial Tech team and owning BAU, with roughly 30-40% of your time hands-on in our Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud).

You'll be the person who keeps things moving. You'll own triage, sprints, and release delivery, line manage the Commercial Tech admins and developers, and act as the first escalation point for the area. You'll work closely with the Head of Commercial and Marketing Technology to make sure the global strategy is being delivered on the ground, and you'll keep our commercial stakeholders well informed throughout. The ideal candidate pairs a solid delivery management background in scrum or agile with enough Sales Cloud depth to get hands-on when the work calls for it.

Please note this is a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract and will be a hybrid role based out of our central London office (once/twice per week in the office).

What you'll be doing

Delivery leadership and team management

  • Own the day-to-day running of the Commercial Tech team, keeping delivery on track and the backlog healthy.
  • Line-manage the three Commercial Tech admins and one developer, supporting their development through coaching and regular feedback.
  • Triage incoming Jira tickets, assign bugs and work to the right person, and manage priorities against capacity.
  • Run all sprint ceremonies, including planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Own the release pipeline and make sure change is delivered safely and predictably.
  • Act as the first escalation point for Commercial Tech, resolving issues quickly and escalating to the Head of Commercial and Marketing Technology when needed.
  • Protect team capacity by filtering ad-hoc inbound requests at the right level.

Hands-on Salesforce delivery, Sales Cloud

  • Configure and maintain the Sales Cloud instance, using declarative tools first and programmatic solutions where they add value.
  • Build and maintain robust Salesforce Flows and automation in line with best practices and platform performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues directly in the platform.
  • Support integrations between Salesforce and other business systems.
  • Deploy change through CI/CD and apply declarative change solutions to delivery work.
  • Collaborate with the organisation-wide Salesforce team, contributing to code reviews and keeping solutions aligned with the broader ecosystem.

Stakeholder partnership and communication

  • Keep commercial stakeholders regularly updated on delivery, priorities, and status so there are no surprises.
  • Partner with the Head of Commercial and Marketing Technology to make sure day-to-day delivery reflects the wider roadmap and corporate OKRs.
  • Gather requirements from commercial and ops teams, translate them into clear technical work, and set realistic expectations on delivery.
  • Build and maintain meaningful reports and dashboards that are available and easy to understand for the people who need them.
  • Maintain clear technical and process documentation for the team's work.

Who you are

Delivery management

  • A proven background in delivery or project management, specifically in a scrum or agile environment.
  • Confident running sprint ceremonies, managing a backlog, and keeping a team focused and productive.
  • Hands-on with Jira or a similar tool for triage, tracking, and reporting.

Technical skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, with strong Sales Cloud knowledge across configuration, Flows, and automation.
  • Minimum of Advanced Administrator or Platform Developer I certification. Sales Cloud Consultant certification is a strong plus.
  • Comfortable getting hands-on with declarative build and some programmatic work, such as Apex and Lightning Web Components.
  • Familiar with developer and deployment tooling, including Git for version control, Salesforce CLI, VS Code, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • A good working understanding of Salesforce APIs and integration patterns.

Leadership

  • Experience line managing or mentoring admins or developers, with a genuine interest in helping people grow.
  • Able to set direction, unblock the team, and create a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Collaboration

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of working effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Able to translate between business needs and technical delivery, and to keep senior stakeholders confident and informed.

Adaptability

  • A proactive and flexible mindset, comfortable picking up an established team and area at pace.
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment, which matters in a cover role.

Process orientation

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • A focus on scalable, maintainable ways of working that drive operational efficiency.

What's in it for you

  • A range of flexible working options to dedicate time to what matters to you
  • Competitive compensation package + bonus
  • 25 days holiday per year, increasing to 28 days after 2 years of employment

  • Access to over 4,000 deals and discounts on things like travel, electronics, fashion, fitness, cinema discounts, and more.
  • Independent financial advice and free standard professional mortgage broker advice
  • Talent acceleration programs: Fast-track your career with our tailored development programs designed to support growth at whatever stage of your career
